One of my favorite games as a kid. I still ocassionally play it from the Mega Man Legacy Collection. But like many who experienced this game for the first time, I played and had Mega Man 2 in my NES library as a kid. I grew up with the entire series of Classic Mega Man games and it was worth it. Also, fun fact... My older brother can enter the password for the last stages of the game without looking at screen, he does it from memory. I cannot do that lol.
Backseating would make this whole game way too easy. Heat Man and Quick Man's levels are a joke if you use the best possible tools. Glad you did it the hard way, was cool to cheer you on :D
I couldn't stop laughing at how bunnytails was like "oh...!" every time she killed the bosses with Metal Blade in a few seconds, haha. That weapon is the definition of "broken".
You did the Heat Man blocks a lot easier than I can do it, and I've been playing this game since it released. You did excellent for a first time Mega Man player.
Awesome! Welcome to the challenging world of MegaMan. According to GameFaqs, there are over a hundred unique games to be found in this series. And that is not including the remixes and ports, like this Steam one is. Having owned this version over on some console, I think they did a decent job. However, the PS3 compile is where they truly went the extra mile. I had no idea the manuals were 'that' thorough. Guess I never bothered reading any of them. Then again, I might only own one or two. (Which, as I understand, can fetch quite a sum of money, these days.) And it is a good thing you went for number 2. As I deem 1 to be a little too rough. I'll aways marathon from 2 to 6 as a warm up before tackling 1. _...and I do trust that you will be asking questions._ ;P
What do you think about the Metal Blade weapon? it has so much ammo, goes in multiple directions and is strong against several bosses. A lot of people love it for those reasons, but some people think it's OP.

Only problem with doing Quick Man's stage that way, is that you'll wish you didn't when you get to the boss. At least on "Difficult" mode.

And the MM series covers almost every genre including RPG and sports
Thanks 😁
lol, "little man" was a funny and cute name for the extralives.

I love it!
Pretty much everyone thinks that it is overpowered. 😅
Disappointed… I thought this was going to be one of those original DOS releases of the MegaMan games for PC…
I didn’t know these existed, thanks.
