I tried to backup from
iCloud and it is stuck on the software update. It’s been on this all night. I turned off and restarted iPad and it went through the whole setup again and is now stuck once again in the software update. It looks as if it’s updating. The wheel is turning but it will not complete.

There are 2 models… one with wifi and the other with wifi and cellular. U have the one that is only wifi which is cheaper.
