We live next to a walnut orchard and the crows help themselves to the nuts then they drop them on our street to crack them. They are such smart birds.

Awesome tip about using a felt-tip marker instead of a ball point pen or pencil!! Brilliant! I can't wait to try it. I've spent a lot of time removing graphite with the kneaded eraser.

Aww, I've really enjoyed the ones where you show it with both paints. It gives me time to catch up while you paint the other one. Also I'm a new subscriber and now have both types of paints, lol. I'd like the option to use either I feel like.
It was interesting to see 2 versions side by side and not to be negative because every channel has its style but I think it could be better with more focus on the task and less distracting banter that would bring the time down to 20-30 minutes. Most peoples time is limited and when watching a tutorial you kinda want to focus on technique and results to improve skills. For me I had to advance through all the excess talk just to get through the video. On the plus side its nice to focus closeup because we can see what you are doing. LOL my comment is getting wordy too. Thank You.
Keenan, FYI, Pit bulls think they are lap dogs and are gentle dogs unless people train them to attack. Also, just to let you know this not coming from a Pitt bull owner but a retired vet tech and Toy Poodle owner. 😊

I found this tutorial to be very easy. Perhaps it’s because the camera stayed on the subject during the whole process. I had difficulty following the cat tutorial for some reason, but this one was easy. Good job, guys.

'There us a color called moon glow by Daniel Smith that has that irridesence you were describing for the black bird and mallard. Check it out...it has so much potential for night skies and deep dark forest scenes.
I like the "Sarah Facts" they make me laugh.
Chickens and turkeys have been selectively bred to achieve larger birds with larger breasts. Love the tutorial.

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry you had aggressive roosters around but do know there are “gentlemen” roosters who bow to the hens and protect them from predators. Their alter egos are more often than not the ones who become dinner. Lovely paintings btw! 😊

Cattle - Animal, Female - Cow, Male - Bull
Fun fact: “chicken” refers to a species of poultry. Hen refers to a female chicken. Rooster refers to a male chicken. Pullet refers to a young hen chicken. Cockerel refers to a young male chicken. Chicks are newly hatched chickens.

Back and forth makes me crazy.
I have no problem with the chatter at all. What makes me crazy is listening to the same music track over and over and over and over thru a 45 minute painting demonstration.
@Bill Krosby Look the chatter gets to me to sometimes as well, I'm trying to paint and concentrate on what I'm being told to do technique wise. Not have a conversation with a screen. I've fixed that and I now just speed up or Mute the voice-overs, if they become really annoying.
