Hi, I'm playing on a Yamaha 62 - one of the original "Purple Logo" horns. I've had it since buying it new in the late '80s! Brilliant horn.
McGill Music Sax School very nice! If you had to chose would you use the Selmer Mark VI or 62-3 for Jazz? Im getting opinions before I buy one
+Dison's Prodigy Good question. The classic choice is a Mark Vi, but I’ve always preferred the mechanism and reliability of modern horns. It really depends on your playing style and what sort of playing you are doing. Have fun choosing!
