Every artist has their own voice, their own story and their own expression and unique sound. Now before those touched by Mariah Carey's, I also was, but maybe I'm just a person of worship over praise songs. Mariah's makes us focus on her skills. If its not showing off, she would not have made it higher and higher if the song doesn't call for it.
