Catchy tune but awfully depressing. This is probably how a lot of people thought in 1971. I suspect the Plumb who cowrote this was her record producer dad, Neely Plumb, who arranged this as well. He had his only #1 single that he produced, "The Purple People Eater", go to #1 around the time Eve was born in 1958.
I think eve was way more talented then she ever gets credit for. I think out of the kids she seemed the most real in her acting.
I agree 100%
Love all the brady bunch miss the memories
Awe little Jan singing.

Excellent.
Just heard this. Very sad but on target. The world is in a depressing state
Who says the Brady's never deal with Social issues?
Actually, not bad....nice little spoken parts....and sorta reminds me of a kids version of "It was a very good year", but by a kid in reverse
She's like rapping and singing the chorus.
This seems sad. I wonder if she's talking about Kent state at the end. And of course she's in her 60s now.
Who'd thought that a gimmicky little song made to ride on the stardom of a little girl could be so political? Not me.
No right channel??
It’s annoying
Year???
1971
Thank you!
Very sweet but surprisingly political 😐
