Hey! A good tip I heard that has helped with paint storage is to take any remaining paint and pour it into a pop bottle (old 2 liter or whatever size makes sense) with three or four marbles. It keeps it airtight, which protects the paint, and having the marbles in allows you to shake up the bottle before pouring out to get it to mix back together. It works amazingly well. I just take a picture of the label and color specs and then notate enough on the bottle to connect it if I need to get another new paint can in the future. Additionally, it usually saves a lot of space doing it this way. Plus, it makes it easy to only pour out a small portion for touch-ups. Give it a try. 😁
Here's a little tip, if you don't have much of the paint left and it's a colour that's no longer available, paint a piece of card - about the size of a credit card - with some of the remaining paint, label it and keep it safe.
That way if you ever need to get more of the colour, you can get it specially mixed up to match the card. Taking the card to the store is a lot easier than trying to take a bit of wall!!!

I recently bought a mini washer for my apt.(i've been doing laundry at my sisters) and got the laundry detergent sheets per your recommendation mostly because it's just me and i don't need a whole bunch of deteregent and because as someone with chronic illnesses, any weight i can eliminate hauling to and from the grocery store and into my apartment is SOO helpful. The fact that they use less plastic and fuel to be transported is a bonus. HOpefully, they'll become more mainstream and the price will go down. RN they're not sustainable for large families to be able to afford.

You could install a countertop over the washer and dryer - gives you space to fold

I am so glad to see a plastic solution for the laundry room. So many people use those glass jars and I’m WAY too clumsy for this.

I would’ve taken it one step further and used drink dispensers for the liquid detergent (lemonade dispensers for ex.) and put them at hand level rather than a shelf. I hate lugging the jug to fill the cap and can spill sometimes.

Wow this was so inspiring I need to get organizing for sure, I have the of the drawers like that in my lien closet and guest room they work great they are a pain to move up and down but but what a great idea to use them in a laundry closet I'm going to try that

Very enjoyable video - I have the same problem of dumping my shopping. I don't even have children underfoot and I get in the door and just want to sit down and have a cup of coffee and a rest. So, I put all things in the kitchen and cold items in the fridge and schedule a time a little later to get everything sorted and tidy. I'm much less likely to stuff items haphazardly in if I'm a little bit refreshed. I do feel for mamas who aren't really able to have a rest when they need it - so I think you do very well indeed with three small ones absolutely committed to destroying your home to the best of their ability 😊

Nice video! Painting is addicting. Freshly painted walls make me feel good …I have painted half my house recently because it is nice to freshen up.
A fresh painted home feels so clean. Maybe because it is. Since we clean the walls and ceiling before painting it feels new. I hated painting before moving when I rented, because I just wanted to put my stuff back and live there again.
After watching this video, I noticed that the all free and clear powder detergent was on sale at walmart and amazon so I bought some and stocked up too 😂
If I could paint the inside of my house , black, white , gray, with accent walls. I live i Georgia so we have some high ceilings. I would just use colors with pillows, throws, ect. Thanks for the video

You can get these wall mounted door plates that just stick to wall behind the knob to offer more protection for your walls in cases where the doors “fly” open lol 😂
What do you use the baking soda for in the laundry? Also I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum but don’t know much about them. Would you consider doing a how 2, tips/tricks advice and pros vs cons of robo vacuums. Thanks. I’m so glad I found your channel, love all you videos. 💕

I switched to the Lazy Coconuts detergent you recommended, so my dryer top is no longer covered in a gooey film of dripped detergent and flyaway lint, yay! Do you use different detergents for different types of laundry? My family has sensitive skin and I used to use All Free & Clear but the Lazy Coconuts hasn't had any negative effect for us.

Just wondering, what did Home Depot do for your paint? Did they just mix it for you even though there were some pieces of stuff in there or did you have to buy some more paint?
They shook it up even with the little bits of rust and it turned out fine!
