    I drove the Toyota sienna 2015 LE of my brother minivan & I compare to my Kia Sedona LX 2017. I like my minivan , it has comfortable driver seat and the center console armrest would be better than Toyota sienna. I work as a car salesman my previous customer was a professional mechanic and he said he maintained one of his customer Kia Sedona 2015 it had almost 400,000 miles the guy used the Kia minivan for Uber & Lyft. The only repaired he did were brake pads , rotor & shock. The mechanic used Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil & filter whenever he did an oil change. The engine & transmission were really solid. Don't ever buy Dodge caravan & Chrysler Pacifica majority of time my customers visited our store for so many issues like transmission problem, electrical, door, battery discharge by itself etc.....BUY KIA SEDONA you will not regret it.....my minivan has more than 18,000 miles I travel to Las Vegas to California all the time no single problem! I used Valvoline fully synthetic oil and original Kia oil filter

      You get tempted looking at the price, but factor the cost in the long term for repairs Dodge/Chrysler it isn't worth it.

    My 2017 Kia Sedona has 30,000 miles. the sliding doors and front passenger seatbelt were repaired under recalled. So far it is asolid minivan . I did my own oil change using valvoline, royal purple, penzoil ultra synthetic oil and original Kia Sedona oil filter...I always lubricate the sliding doors to avoid any further problems...to my honest opinion it is a tank solid minivan....I highly recommend to everyone 😊

    I have a 2011 kia sportage w 100k miles on it. Just a few minor issues that the warranty covered. But no major issues. I'm very amazed how great these vehicles are built. Only 2 times I had to change the brakes in its life.

      @@garybolenable you recommend getting a kia 2017 with 100k miles??

    • @garybolenable
      @garybolenable ปีที่แล้ว

      @@strongtowerman9661 Well, I'm not an expert to be sure, but I would probably buy it if it were me. My 2017 Kia Sedona has just over 50k miles on it and I've never had any issues with it (and honest to God I didn't get an oil change for the first three years). Literally, no issues. I had a 2007 Kia Sedona before I bought my 2017 Sedona and I'm sure it had close to 100k on it and I was perfectly happy with it, but it was totaled by an uninsured driver, which is the only reason why I bought the 2017 Kia Sedona.
      Just make sure they aren't charging over the KBB value, and also check to see if you can get third party insurance on it. I was able to get it when I bought my 2007 (in 2016) Kia Sedona used. That way you will have peace of mind if something does go wrong. (Edited) I also do a lot of backpacking in Washington State, so I take my Sedona on a lot of Forest Service roads, which are absolute shite and again, I've never had any problems. And for a minivan, the Kia Sedona has some decent clearance.
      The two cars I had prior to my first Kia Sedona were both brand new Toyota Priuses, and honestly, gas mileage aside, I think my Kia Sedona was a much better value.

    Try and use a leather coating on your seats from Gyeon or G Techniq, will prevent cracks and wear.

    This older model is better than the 2019. The 2019 i own and I miss the old transmission. Not enough response when using tipronic, too many gears. I owned the 2016 it was flawless. The bad smell is rubber burning from the wire moldings around the engine. Great overall though for the price.
    Oh! The seats fabric needs a cover. 1 yr of owning and the drivers seat had rips from getting in and out. (Fabric seats) Same spot you had the ripples in your leather 😜

    Q1: do you notice any vibrations from the steering wheel at any speed?
    Q2: do you notice any pressure buffeting in the cabin?
    I can't stand those issues in cars, so just making sure real world doesn't notice them. Appreciated.

Change a few parts here and there because of mileage like trans mount, cv axle bushings, links, bushings, etc. But so far so good. I use it for private taxi service here in Panama, central America.
