- We are eating INSIDE the pyramid today in the Mexico Pavilion of Epcot's World Showcase at San Angel Inn Restaurante. Situated overlooking the boat ride (Gran Fiesta Tour), this Mexican restaurant is themed to an outdoor terrace in the evening and has always served very good food. Plus, how can you go wrong with great margaritas, chips, and dips? Let's see if that is still the case... Enjoy!

Update as of 6/4/24 - so glad we gave this restaurant a second chance!! They have since made some significant changes. The tables now have beautifully decorated dividers, gone are the endless rows of movable tables. But even better...they've now installed overhead "street lanterns" in addition to the nice lamp on each table so you can see! We counted three managers walking around and checking in on folks and making sure everything was running smoothly. So glad we went back!
Thanks to videos like yours, Disney has been listening and made some positive changes to this loved restaurant!

Thank you for another wonderful review! I have always hesitated to book here because the food reviews are often very negative, but I have wanted to visit just based off of ambiance alone. This makes me feel more confident in booking dinner here during my next trip! Y'all have a magical day!

Another great review. We love this place. Have been eating lunch there for over 20 years. A must do on our lunch list every trip. We have always enjoyed our servers, never had a bad one. Love the flight shirt !

We were there a couple of weeks ago. We also had the chips and queso, tostadas, and tacos. We love them all. We can’t wait to go back and try them again.

This restaurant was amazing in the late '90's, then went downhill and we haven't been back since. Super excited after watching this to give it another try next trip! Thank you, thank you, thank you because it used to be a favorite of ours and. we're excited to try it again.

We were there earlier in the month. The enchiladas entree was incredible and very filling.
I just want my margaritas in a quiet setting. I usually go with family, and we eat appetizers at La Cava but since my next trip is solo, I'm booking this one! On the meny, I only see the fundido, not the queso now.
Ok we will book this as the food sounds absolutely amazing and delicious 😋

We ate at San Angel around New Year's last year and enjoyed it. We have reservations at La Hacienda de San Angel next Sunday, and hope its as good. If you're around, drinks are on me!
I have always had great food and great service here. It’s in our top 3 at Epcot.
We enjoy this restaurant, the Tacos de Ribeye are very tasty. My son's favorite ride is Three Caballeros, so we can't beat the theming. Always try to go here during our trip.

We ate here for the first time on our last trip and loved it so much we ate there again the last night! We are booked again for our next trip in January. When I asked for my family's feedback in booking ADRs they said San Angel for every meal! The service was wonderful and the food was YUMMY!

We went there on our latest trip to WDW because of this review. Their specialty San Angel Inn margarita comes in a shaker, so you get a bit more than a standard pour. Of course, we got the queso. But my main dish was PHENOMENAL, pollo a las rajas - the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the poblano pepper cream sauce was so tasty!

What a nice visit back to San Angel Inn! I haven’t eaten there since the 90s since there are so many other options in EPCOT, but I’ll have to give it another try :-). The concept is obviously based on the iconic Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland. WDW wasn’t supposed to have a Pirates ride, and when they added the ride later there wasn’t room for a restaurant. This works well using the same concept, although the associated ride isn’t nearly in the same league.
I do love that concept
We accidentally made a reservation at the other Mexican restaurant across the way last time and we were so disappointed. We look forward to going back and getting it right.

great review! I feel like this place gets a bit of a bad rap and is a bit underrated. And for "Disney Prices" it's not crazy at all
