Enjoyed the review! The three of you (plus Theresa when available) are golden. Very much enjoy your critique, number scoring, and banter. Always informative, interesting, and entertaining. Thank you.
The DIS has always had an attitude about this restaurant. Let me tell you this is a Great location. When there is scorching sun and humidity, the dimmed atmosphere is a wonderful reprieve. It is cool, dark, and relaxing inside. The food is very good and soooo chill.
I have a feeling that was more because you know who didn't like it. I've noticed as soon as he left it felt like the food reviews have become a lot more trust worthy
To be fair it is far too expensive for Mexican food. Folks from CA, AZ, TX can't help but to cringe at the price. If they're gonna charge prices like that portions need to be large.
You guys this is for family's at a theme park ,I am so frustrated every video it's like your going to a 5 star restaurant, lol people go with kids,Next time Go to Royal Albert
We tried the restaurant 3 years ago on my 50th birthday trip and my wife and I absolutely loved it. I went in with low expectations because various channels like The DIS are always negative about it. With that we had quite the surprise. Literally everything we had was delicious. And not to mention the atmosphere was awesome. We just loved it. YES, it's pricey as all get-out, but for a rare treat, I had nothing to complain about. We started with some of their special margherita's and those we loved so much. Very pricey drinks, but they were killer. Left me wanting many more I tell ya.
Would you folks consider putting a fork next to the plate when you show your meals? Sometimes portion amount is mentioned, and a fork or something next to the plate would help as a reference for scale. Thank you for reviewing this. We really like your new format. ❤
Thank you Craig for recommending off property restaurants. We always drive to WDW so that we have the freedom to leave property and eat at our favorite Orlando restaurants for a fraction of the Disney price.
Always a ringing endorsement from Ryno - "I didn't hate it". We ate there on our honeymoon many years ago and the tables had more space for sure! Also, they had sangria but it wasn't on the menu. When I asked for, they brought me a carafe and a glass! But then this was in the Eisner years.
I totally agree that the tables are WAY too close together for my liking. I understand wanting to maximize the space, but it seems like it's hard for the servers too.
This is a review I never thought I'd see! Edited to add: As a lifelong Texan, I love me a good Margarita but not for $24!! DH and I are also those people who will order the enchiladas at any restaurant.
Texan here too and I get a TOP SHELF (1492 Tequila) margarita at my local spot and its 32 oz and pricey but worth it, I have to laugh at Ryno pronouncing Tamale😉
Mmmm Hannah's Margarita sounds like a dream! I'm looking forward to going to this restaurant one day, especially after your review. The place def. has a "bad rap" for under par food but I've seen a few reviews lately that say its not amazing but not so bad either!
The prices for everything - drinks, apps, and entrees - is outrageous! Not sure I can justify that cost, no matter how cool the ambience is. Especially when I can chow down on free chips and salsa at my local Mexican restaurant at home. And get a margarita the size of my head for $15.
Back in the day when they first opened, we used to eat there all the time. The food was more authentic back then, but they have had to kind of dummy it down a tad for most palates. It started going down hill so we didn't go back for years. I went back a year or so ago and enjoyed it. Was it the best Mexican in the world, no. It was pretty decent for most American palates (I went to high school in New Mexico and often had Mexican not TexMex) and better than the last time we went. I will say it has always been close in there and even back in the beginning the service was hit or miss, not sure why. I have found in the last say 10 years, the service in most restaurants on property (with the exception of V&As) has been hit or miss. I'm not sure I'll go back again any time soon because I tend to stay at the Dolphin and like the new Mexican restaurant there and it's convenient if you are staying there. And that one tends to lean more Tex/Mex and less authentic but if you like TexMex, it's not bad. The service has always been pretty good but it does lean toward the expensive.
What Mexican restaurant doesn’t serve chips and salsa for free? Not having this on the table is a crime against humanity especially for what you’re paying for everything. Hard pass.
After watching these reviews, I feel fortunate that I don't like the taste of alcohol regardless of how low the percentage is. With the money I have saved not buying mixed drinks, I was able to pay cash for my last car.
I don't know what happened but Craig and Ryno have flipped roles. Craig was the one that was hard on everything and Ryno was glowing. Now I expect Ryno to be the negative one in the review and Craig to be reasonable.
Ok... Before I started watcing. I knew you would talk about places off property. STOP DOING THAT. We know its more money...your in the most popular theme park resort in the world. In the park. With that setting. Just so annoying that you guys always do this. Just review tge restaurant.
Okay, so the review would've been the same. Taste is good and $15 is overpriced for one tamale even if its the most popular theme park resort in the world, in the park, with that setting. Talking about off-property just helps give people who do want that advice on top of the review of the restaurant.
We liked the experience but yeah, super dark, and cramped. Went on Valentine’s Day with the wife, and it was distracting to have the candle-lit floating face of the woman at the next table constantly in my view. Like Madame Leota. The food wasn’t bad, but the vegetarian thing I got was a little bland. The waiter didn’t know which items had cilantro and I ended up not being able to eat everything I ordered. We also waited forever for the bill, and ended up paying at the front, iirc. Anyway, good but a one and done. It was nice to able to walk onto a ride right after dinner.
As locals, this is one location that we often visit. The food is really fantastic and you absolutely can NOT beat the location and atmosphere. I typically order the kids quesadilla and add chicken to it and it is the PERFECT amount of food for me. LOVE the chips and salsa/queso too. I, however, will NOT pay those prices for their beverages. Way too expensive for a drink.
I do not live there. I never will. Going to WDW is pure escapism, and I am not leaving the Disney bubble for love nor money. I am not going off property for any tamale. Any steak. Any German food. Any anything.
The number one question we get even above on property advice is, “What are your favorite off-property recommendations.” Discussing other options kills two birds with one stone.
Totally agreed. I go about once every two years and we do not leave property and only use Disney Transportation the entire time. I have only seen two places in Florida. Orlando airport and Disney World. The magic of the bubble is what makes my Disney vacation so special and I don’t care or think about the outside world.
Enjoyed the review! The three of you (plus Theresa when available) are golden. Very much enjoy your critique, number scoring, and banter. Always informative, interesting, and entertaining. Thank you.
The atmosphere here has always been incredible... especially if you're by the water 😌👌

That little kid chowin down in the background over Ryno's shoulder!! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm glad you enjoyed it since no one else did lol
I'm so glad at least Craig remembered to give a score for the character interaction. We need all the information!
The trio does well once more
Thanks for sharing this review❤ I’ve always been weary of this restaurant due to all the hate it gets, but it sounds like it was a great experience 🎉
Great review thank you! Do you think it’s a good value on the DDP if you don’t drink alcohol? I did not see any specialty non-alcoholic drinks?
Good review! Thanks for giving a look. I enjoy your perspectives!
OMG I want to go just to try the corn ice cream. I have had asparagus ice cream that was delicious.
Wow. A good review of this place! I’ve never cared for it, but now I want to try it again (fourth time’s a charm? ;-)
Hannah, where did your shirt come from? And earrings? Loved them both. You look fabulous!

I loved this review!!! Thank you!!! ❤
Would LOVE to know where Hannah got her blouse/top? So, so pretty! Love your reviews!
I love Ryno's shirt!
That title was the best!!!!! 😂
We loved our dinner there in February.

@@sydneyleinen1524 32oz margarita is way too big for this 4'10" 120lb girl lol
I’m so used to margarita prices at Disney even 24 dollars made me go what 😮
We have never eaten at this location and my wife is dying to try it. Interesting review.

Happy Friday!
One of my favorite. Every trip I eat there.
7:35 BEES?!?!?!
It's a Tamale, Michael. How much could it cost - 10 dollars??
Really hope this place gets better! It’s the Orlando version of Blue Bayou. It can be romantic if they tried.
those drink prices...yikes!
Now we need ypu to review all of the other Mexican restaurants on property and rank them.
Nice review - Theresa was great
30+ bucks a plate ....yikes.
Sounds like it has improved though.
This actually seemed more reasonable considering the atmosphere.
Ryno you are in a building with everybody else!
Hannah I love your outfit!
Looks ridiculously dark but food looked good!
Chips and Queso for the win!
I had the ribeye tacos there back in February I thought it was alright. Nothing offensively bad.

good to know!
Me 🤝 Martini Mom -> Cheese dip connoisseurs
The little sombreros sold out in the Mexican pavilion in Epcot
They took away the free chips and salsa
Yet other restaurants at Disney still serve free bread.

Im cheap too Ryno😂😂😂
We are thrifty/frugal...not cheap

I'm glad Craig told us about that tamale restaurant an hour away from Disney that none of us will ever go to.
Ok if on DDP. Rhino, I think you are too harsh because you know it too well.
I think the pacing is off for these dining reviews. I prefer when y’all go each dish in real time. And not kind of afterwards.
I wish there was chogoink franky Scott Taipei the image of my toys chogoink franky on Scott toilet paper. Would be nice.
The creamy chicken dish is super good. Roja al a something. Everything else is pretty bad.

@@DISUnlimited I am one that appreciates the references off property

This restaurant is in Disney World… I don’t know what you’re talking about
Craig goes on about restaurants/food that can be found outside Disney property...as he did in this video.
The number one question we get even above on property advice is, “What are your favorite off-property recommendations.” Discussing other options kills two birds with one stone.
@@DISUnlimitedyou can’t compare off property with on property… especially for prices.

Bidenomics meets Disney equals way too expensive.
We love the Mexico pavilion
