If he does get a positive skills assessment on carpentry and pass the PTE exam, we are planning to take Tourist or Student Visa and look for an employer onshore who will sponsor him in one of the DAMA areas, Cairns and Townsville QLD preferably. This is so I can also find an employer, am an Office Manager and already 43 yo.. So does this mean any employer in these DAMA regions, if they want to sponsor a qualified employee, they can always opt for DAMA sponsorship provided they will meet the requirements for DAMA?? Or do we have to specifically look for employers who are already holding a DAMA agreement?? I am quite confused on these two.
Most of the occupations are not available for offshore.. Even for ICT engineers.... Does this means SA haven't open for offshore or at this is the final requirement FY2021-2022?

DAMA program requires you to find an Employer first... then the Employer needs to go through Stage 1 and 2 in the diagram
