I earnestly think Naafiri's issue is that she is designed to be a simple, easy to play assassin in the same vein as others in her role, but since her kit is pretty straightforward, old players are pretty unlikely to be disloged away from their old ones into playing her. Theoretically this would be fine! These characters are made to be played by new players! The problem is that she costs 6300 Blue Essence, which to a new player is a HUGE deal to commit to a character, especially when you can just pick up one of the several much cheaper champions that fill the same role. TLDR Riot should make all champions free.
I don't think her problem is the lack of skill expression because Kha'Zix is literally "jump and kill", he does not have "Faker! What was that?!" potential like Zed. But her main problem, for me at least, is the lack of unpredictfulness. Kha'Zix and Rengar jumps out of nowhere, Kayn clip through walls and Talon jumps them, Zed creates a billion clones and kills you anime-style, but Naafiri just jumps at you in plain sight and that's about it, you are already moving to your tower when she charges the lunge, so it's not even like Rengar or Kha'Zix where you retreat when it's already over. She plays kinda like a skirmisher when she was supposed to be an assassin.

What yhey need to do is revert the nerf to your minions so they can last much longer( have 3 hp, meaning in 3 hits they die) Reduce the timer for the passive minion spawn from 30 to 15 while maintaining its current effect. Q must be as fast as other assasin projectiles to he more in line with them, and W should be dogs in front and Nafiri behind ( like before) so he is less likely to be stopped by cc.
Naafiri main problem is absolutely not this, her kit is just so cancerous, problematic and impossible to handle it without changing it in is core Her passive is too broken in a way she can block most skillshots, but then if you take them she loses a lot of damage, her gapclose is literally point and click, and has a range half of the lane, and her ult is stack check, assassins are simple made for dumb minds, but naafiri is a whole another level of "easy" she is the Garen of the assassins, and being that easy for a high reward class such as assassins is a problem
I disagree with this. There are many reasons why people don't want to play her that don't have to do with her price. The fact that she's just a practice tool to begin with is a terrible design for many. People want a champ they can pick up, and stick with if they choose. There are already lots of assassins that are easy to pick up but hard to master. Talon is one of the easiest assassins in the game and people love playing him in high ELO. Pyke is pretty forgiving for new players with self healing and can also be played at a very high skill level. Another issue is that one of the main points of an assassin is to punish mistakes, and you can't really do that if you're easy to predict. If somebody is interested in playing an assassin, that's one of the big things they're going to be looking for in a champ that Naafiri just doesn't do well enough. If anything it makes her role as an assassin practice tool moot. She's also just hard to balance. She's so easy to execute she becomes OP if she's buffed, but so predictable that if she's nerfed she feels terrible to play.
problem with nafiri is that assassin mains only play edgy dudes or hot chicks, they are not the fury community. if they rly wanna push her winrate make her a barely dressed female human assassin and her pick rate will tripple

Those are going to be more midscope updates, i imagine Shyvana was already announced, with these 4 they aren't reworking their entire kits like they are with Shyvana (Dont know about malphite), but they are changing aspects of the kits to make it so players have more incentive to pick these champs, Naafiri is very underwhelming mid lane gets countered by hard cc, havent seen a single ziggs player play mid since ziggs ADC was meta, Swain is my main pick mid and whilst he's not underwhelming he has a low pick rate because tons of champs have ways to bully swain in lane because e is very inconsistent to land which is his main move to land his W and Q, K'sante might honestly just need a midscope update, theres so many things wrong with him i could make a list.
Shyvana is next year and Malphite they just mentioned in the new dev update, saying that they are doing what I've been hoping they would do for years, trying to port the assets and models from Wild Rift and if it works out they can do that faster for a lot more champions!
first of all i think you should be able to flash while dashing on W changing the route a bit and second change i would make so that marked by Q1 champ would be slowed or sth like that so it is more woth to go in not with W only

The main issue with Naafiri is she is a very telegraphed glass cannon. When youre able to get ahead you can definitely run over games but the issue is how telegraphed she is. When you see the giant red as fuck "im coming at you right now" indicator and have hard CC you just get a free trade cause you can displace her out of it so she gets 0 damage from it and a full 22 sec CD to boot you also cant really bait out that CC either cause Naafiri's W is her main engage tool. She is gank prone cause almost all of her mobility is aimed at going in to kill her tiny E dash wont get you away from most junglers and supports so they can feast on her for that, and her early laning is sub par cause she is an R reliant champ (this is why she isnt played in high elo often for example.) She is telegraphed and gank prone just makes her a very unreliable champ consistency wise
@GustavoOliverXD it is a Naafiri problem. 80% of mid laners have a hard CC button that they can just hold so on top of them already out ranging you cause she is a melee champ you can never go in while 1v1 unless they fuck up and in higher elo's they arent just going to throw their hard CC ability out for no reason. Naafiri needs to use her W to engage on someone and its extremely telegraphed and stupid easy to play around. Doesnt matter if you do a fuck ton of damage if you cant get close enough to do it. Also you have to compare Naafiri to other assassin mid laners. Zed can out range with shadows to harass and also has no mana and has the huge outplay potential and a get out of jail free card, talon goes invisible there for not being as predictable where he is coming from, Akali has invisibility and no mana, Ekko has CC and a get out of jail free card, Fizz has CC and untargetability, Qiyana has invisibility and hard CC. Naafiri just has alot of damage and an extremely easy to interupt engage
I think if they lean more into the darkin theme of naafiri it could be useful. I would make two changes, first is the when dagger causes a target to bleed naafiri heals for a percentage of all damage the target takes, increased when that damage is dealt by her dogs. And remove the increased damage on low hp targets, and instead just make it a flat increased damage on bleeding targets. Second is making W a better tool by allowing it to be canceled after casting, additionally when you use w on a target within certain range (near auto range) the dash is instant, but does not chase the target (meaning naafiri dashes to the targeted location not the target). Both of her other abilities are fine as they are, maybe nerfing ult a bit to make up for the increased power of her other abilities. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. Edit: forgot to mention that it would be a rework similar to reksai, attempting to make her less about oneshotting the adc, and more about jumping in to create chaos with survivability and brawling…and outshot the adc.

I don't think this is a good idea personally, the idea was for her to be an easy to play assassin, but she's still not picked much. We really need to tackle why she's not picked otherwise we just throw buffs on her, then she becomes broken, then she gets nerfed, and we're back to square one. So what's the main issue? Is she not good? At high levels, she underperforms, but she's SUPPOSED to. Her kit is ridiculously easy, but she falls prey to hard cc, which literally any of the other assassins do too. So buffing her will do nothing productive. I think the real problem isn't her strength, it's her design. Dog lovers would like a cute dog. She's not different enough to be a "cool" beast. Her Darkin form makes her look more like a hyena than anything else. Speaking of her Darkin aspects, she lacks a lot in comparison. It's a unique take, but lacks substance. Aatrox is THE Darkin, and has plenty of fun dialogue. Rhast/Kayn provides a unique back and forth, plus the transformation is another cool part of it. Varus imo is a bit lacking in design, but has a little bit of dialogue to boost him up, and his kit is fun snipes + huge team fight ult. Naafiri's dialogue is just: "PACK" which again, is a cool take, but gets old quickly. So I think she'd be in a great spot for a beginner assassin for people to learn to play, then transfer out of, but the other big issue is that she's a "beginner" champ, with a 6300 blue essence cost, which defeats the purpose. Take the blue essence cost WAY down, and you can leave her as is, she's not going to be a one-trick that you constantly see, but that's ok, if she gets people introduced and learning, she's doing her job.
I sort of hope they bring back the contextual "yank" from the passive. I thought it was really cool that Swain could enhance his allies' CC. I get that it could be really confusing or frustrating if the yank happened and moved a target out of an ally's AoE or skillshot, but i loved the Darth Vader-ass vibes it had.
I'm glad riots looking into swain, im an OTP Swain Mid and he feels so underwhelming compared to most of the champs in mid lane, it's not that he's bad, i never land E, W can only be used when you hit E and recast otherwise champions with dashes in mid lane which there are tons of just disallow the use of the move you'll never land in and most likely have to use w infront of you unless they try to dash to you, or to apply map pressure to side lanes, Q is definitely his best ability, which is surprising considering his ult is good too, procing consistent rylais is great, but you still get one shot by ADC's so the healing is kinda worthless unless you build Swain tanky. Swain's not bad, infact hes quite good IF you get ahead which you normally don't, he easily 2v1's with ghost.

Naafiri has had an identity crisis from the beginning. Her kit is a bruiser kit. No matter how “easy” you make an assasin they need a way out and she just goes in and gets stuck. Put her in the jungle and move her numbers to make her a bruiser and let her be.
Swain main here. Im hoping that with the changes he will receive, it will help him feel better than the poor state he is in now. He has too much of a mesh of things happening; damage, cc, utility, self healing, those kinda things. Im hoping that they can streamline his kit allowing him to excel in fewer attributes rather than having alot of things happening at sub-par power.
Casual swain play here. Swain feels fine. How about champions that actually need gameplay changes? Malphite, Annie, Raka, Garen, I forgot Rek'Sai was even in the game until the video said her name because no one plays her.
Other chanmpions like Gragas and Gankplank also have too many things going on them. The difference is those things work with each other to power the champion, and/or give different builds and playstyles. That doesn't happen with Swain, and I don't think it will happen unless he gets more skill in his kit, aside from landing W or E.
I agree and hope they lean to one side of his kit more. Me personally would love to have more health scaling and healing compared to the recast of ult and bursty side of him.

Problem with Swain is that he has too much counterplay. There is a reason why he is only disliked by low elo players, because in higher elos, he is so easily countered by players with mouse and/or brain
@@hugocoolerkanalsmal3172 He is a counterpick and lanebully. If you constantly miss your E thats a skill issue, there are even slower missile speed skillshots that are played. His E also almost always results in a kill past lvl 3 if hit on a target without flash so its good that its very slow. Reason Swain is dislikes in highelo is because after others scale up and get ms and defensive stats, he gets progressively weaker. Not really tanky enough even with ult to survive well, not great burst after midgame, sustained dmg way too low, unreliable cc later on. I also want to note that one reason he is very strong is his ability to statcheck any all in enemy bot wants to make at lvl6 cause his ultimate is still very strong at that point.
looking at k'sante from win rate perspective is like looking at nidalee, if the players don't know how to play their champ it doesn't mean the champ is

K'Sante was gutted because of pro play using his W to tank the entire enemy team. It isn't because of his Tank/Damage ult non-sense. He was a fine before they did that fatal rework 13.20
The reason why Ziggs is a good botlaner isn't because he's better at 2v2 than 1v1, it's that he's better against marksmen than assassins or other mages. He can farm and poke without being threatened at all in the botlane, and he loves the safety of a long lane.
With swain before his little update preferred how the passive and e worked before i feel like they should add the R bonus hp increase back at the cost of the infinite ult and just make it to where the ult explosion procs his passive and then maybe changing his q to work differently so he can be on even ground with other mages because compared to them he might as well be melee

Naafiri should have some kind of resistance when she uses w. Cc immune would be too good so maybe one of her wolfs jumps in front of her to block something as she is dashing. Even roots stop her mid air which really fcks her whole kit
Swain was perfectly fine right after his rework with mana refund, Q only going though killer enemies, higher burst damage with ult explosion, ult using souls as resource instead of mana, pulling champions with allies cc and without this useless infinite scaling. They started to mess up with his kit for no reason and suddenly he became a support. There is a simple solution to this problem. Just revert all this changes and make him fun and skill expressive again
Naafiri definetely needs her whole kit sped up faster Q and maybe a second E dash or a dash that goes way further because you kinda ult jump in and then you have no tools to get out or sustain through the fight like other assassins
People asking about shyvana or malphite or whatever need to realize these are midscope updates like what they just did to corki rather than actual VGUs or ASUs.
I think it would be cool if Ziggs leaned more into an artillery mage style kit. If i was designing him, id make his Q gain power with each bounce on the ground it does so youre rewarded more for long range Qs. Maybe a bigger AOE each bounce?
Naafiri is enjoyable to play but her new builds makes her less reliable as an assassin and if you don't get ahead she feels awful. Going even sometimes feels just as bad. You basically have to play her like you would a riven or fiora now.
I've always thought about having Naafiri's ult reset on a champion takedown, that way she can properly "hunt" like she's meant to. Obviously numbers would need changing about and such.
Wanna changes for Swain? Soul Fragment gain more stat, not just HP - 100 SF gain MR, AR - 300 SF gain 30% bonus damage from all sources - 666 SF Kill or assist will reset his R, also recover 10% max MP HP Q deal % Max HP, scale with soul he obtain R deal damage base on enemies % missing HP 👌
Swain has been struggling lately. His late game power is mediocre at best and he really pales in effectiveness when it comes to other mages in the game. They simply do everything he does better. His damage is lacking in some cases, his healing is sub-par and sometimes its not even close to being enough to survive most fights. This is not say he's completely useless tho. He also has his strengths and he's pretty good at them such as team fighting, but overall he's not really satisfying to play. His passive's infinite scaling is the most useless part of his kit which also takes up a lot of power budget which could go into his other abilities and make them feel better to use. His E is also a pretty big problem as your opponents can literally just walk out of it and deny you a big chunk of healing you could've gotten from the soul fragments. TLDR: swain needs buffs and lots of adjusments😭
Make Swain a control/battlemage hybrid again like Pre-VGU. He has 3 different types of ranges which doesn´t fit together. Q is melee Range, E is longer range and W is just super long range. You need to be further away from the enemy to hit E and even if you pull you won´t get most of the time the maximum bolts from Q onto the enemy. You NEED to hit E to hit W, because it is almost impossible to hit someone without any CC. Change his Q into Laser-Bird so Swain can operate like a control mage/battlemage in semi-long range again. This change should also feel rewarding in landing combos that actually deal damage. The idea is to keep enemies as long as possible in Laser-Bird range to get maximum damage. Give Q old Laser-Bird numbers and remove Demonflare (R2) from the kit. I want chunky non-ultimate spell combos that feel rewarding and like I am playing an actualy warlock who made a pact with a demon. Decrease the damage over time from Ult and increase the healing or vice versa and for everything that is holy, remove the unlimited Ultimate uptime if any enemy is near him, it´s a toxic mechanic. Make it toggle and let it have increased mana regen per second, so it lasts longer but at the cost of not being able to spam spell combos because of depleting resources in the form of mana loss per second.
people really dont understand that Riot doesnt care about any of the champs they release/released, they will rework ANY champ that has SMALL/NO champ PICK RATE, Nocturne, Shyvana, Malphite, and every other single champion that "needs" buff doesnt need so, cause people play them A LOT, and they got decent-to-good win rate...
Swain's big problem compared to for example Brand is that Swains auto attack animations really suck compared to Brand and other champions who fill the same role.
For me personally Ksante kit is really good as a top laner but being a tank on top of that is just annoying so they should just make him a bruiser for people on low players can enjoy him
The reason Ziggs bot is so popular is mostly due to how mid has evolved to not favor him sort of like Morgana. However he is a good ap carry due to him being able to do p much everything an adc can do but better. Can safely farm and shove waves, can shred towers for easy sieging, has very strong poke and early all-in potential, and can build as either a burst mage or a full-on tank shredder. I guess they want to make it so he can hold his own mid and remove another mage from the bot lane pool.
His infinite ult is one of the worst parts of his kit, as it forces it to be very low elo sqeewed. Enemies need to stand inside his R for like 15 seconds in order for it to have the same effect as the old one had in like 8 seconds
I'm ready to bet Naafiri W & R will be switched Ziggs Q will bounce on walls so it become less predictible. Swain might get a stack mechanic like syndra or viktor K'sante... is a pro play nightmare balance
Would love to see him reworked into a full fighter that can stance swap like jayce and nidalee for example, that way his not a tank in fights and just be a either a Juggernaut (tonfa) or a Skirmisher (bladed tonfa). Another interesting idea is having K'sante have a similar rage mechanic like Gnar. When ever he has full "rage" his tonfas would shatter turning it into bladed tonfas that change his gameplay from Juggernaut to Skirmisher like I mention before. I would genuinely love this idea honestly cuz this would change his identity a lot. I love k'sante, but I'm not liking the direction his going as a tank.
Naafiri rework is easy: make her long jump not a point and click, instead make it follow the mouse pointer similarly to Yumis Q , also make it a fast hold to charge that will control the duration of the jump+ make it so while the duration is active you can pass through enemies and damage them (without stopping, instead to force a stop reuse the button), and for her second small jump its quite easy, make its cd shorter and instead make one of her dogos jump to the targeted area and get stuck on attacking champion's they'vr hit on landing, that would be a nice rework
An other option to make her more assassin/trickster would be to spread out her dogs more and give her the ability to swap places with one of her dogs at will.
People don't play nafiri because she doesn't have crazy team kill potential, ways to reduce or reset cooldown or ways to just go in and out easily ... so people don't play nafiri because she is the only actual assassin of the game, having high burst using high cd ability with a kit made to find and kill the most important target of the ennemy team Like she literaly would be an great assassin in old league when assassin were actual assassin
to be fair, the reason why Naafiri is not popular is because of the bad design. She is a literal jungle camp, and her puppy/pack mechanic is pretty stupid.
As much as I've come to enjoy Naafiri, she's far too simple for her own good. She needs some nuance in her kit that actually gives some form of notable skill expression. I think I would unironically like it if they made the Packmates attack faster or making her W's charge time get reduced, both potentially scaling off of Attack speed.
My idea for Ziggs rework could be a change to his passive. Instead of emporewing his AA, maybe he could empower his abilities to do more damage or something else.
Swain getting another rework is hilarious. Ziggs doesn't need a rework really, he is fine as he is, he is a purely skill based champion with an alright kit. The only thing would be if his W could be thrown faster, so you have an easier time redirecting enemies/yourself exactly the way you want and the E could maybe be spread out a tiny bit more. Naafiri always had her issues, she is just not that appealing to play, her Q needs to hit twice to really deal damage and the rest of her kit just doesn't really do anything? Sure, a little dash that can hop walls and a mini Nocturne R are nice and all, but it's really not that interesting or useful. Her W and passive are like the only stuff I would potentially keep. K'Sante is just stupid, this champ should never have existed. A tank that can constantly dash, make himself unstoppable easily on a basic ability, can kidnap an enemy, deal tons of damage if needed, has true damage, never dies, can pull enemies etc. etc. it's regarded, really.
I’ve played swain since he was a man with a laser bird… his new theme is great but since day one of his rework I always felt his true power should be in his Q. His Q should feel like a graves auto attack in my option and nerf everything else accordingly
For nafiri I believe they should move a lot of her Power budget from her q And put it into her e Along with her passive Q spam feel So garbage I honestly believe she's better off a bruiser The fantasy of a pack of dogs running you down. Feel so much better
So what I am hearing is they are reworking champs that AREN'T in dire need of a rework. Naafiri is too 'new' to already warrant a rework, in fact, there are so many older champs that needs a rework to keep up with the 200 year champs, but Riot just ignores them. Also, where the hell is that Shyvanna rework? Like are we gonna skip past that or...?
For me, K'Sante has three major issues: 1) Conversion of resistances into damage: This mechanic is hard to balance with tank items, making him either too tanky, too damaging, or both at the same time. 2) XP-based scaling on r passive : This means he requires very little to deal significant damage while staying extremely tanky. 3) W reset mechanic: This is too strong, allowing him to escape easily after using R, become unstoppable three times, and reduce damage twice by using W R W, making him too mobile and hard to punish. My solutions: Reduce reliance on resistances: Shift his build towards more health and less resistance like Tank/Bruiser, similar to Shen, Dr. Mundo, or Poppy. Damage scaled by gold: Ensure his ultimate form's damage scales with gold, making him less dangerous if he falls behind. Modify the W reset: Change or remove the dash from W to reduce his mobility and make him more punishable. K'Sante doesn't need a complete rework, just some adjustments to better balance his mechanics.
I think they shouldn't have make Naafiri into a dog. They should make her into a female darkin more human like, commanding dogs and throwing daggers. I think people would play her more likely for the look than the actual gameplay
I liked swain more when you could still pull enemies towards you when your allies also cc'd them. Maybe do a change where he can pull all cc'd enemies towards him like now, but interactive with allies. Could be too op though...
Honestly I’ve liked K’sante since release (not saying he isn’t op, just saying i like his kit), but I never liked his ult turning him into an assassiny-aatrox type character so I haven’t played him much. I would prefer they made him a full tank and gave him a transformer ult which is what I thought they’d do based on his teasers or just a normal engage tank ultimate.

I means she looks like one :| why not going this route as her default and more experienced players would go assasin? (Like sion or reksai) Ziggs - what about his doom bot / odyssey augments? More Q for Q, additional E for Q, slowly homing E? R splitting into smaller Rs? K'snate - please mr K'sante, you gonna hurt yourself. Allow me to show you the way... To the retirement home. :|
the problem I have with naafiri is that she is too predictable, as a talon otp she is even more straight forward than him and (in master elo) you don't deal dmg fast enough as you need to touch ur 2 Q which is hard and not get blocked when using your W. She was strong on release but had to be balanced for newbies so I will stick with talon
Personally, as someone who plays K'Sante, they should just make the R a toggle that lets you swap between tank and DPS mode at anytime (like Jayce and Nidalee), since that was the biggest selling point back at his original tease. It'll be easier to balance the stats out in that way too and not worry about making the DPS form WAY too powerful for a short time.
i also play ksante, Ive seen people talking about making his ult/transformation more like gnars, where in time his weapons slowly crumble, and alllow him to finally go full dps, it also makes sense thematically for him to break the tonfas while fighting

Swain just got a rework. If he needs another then anyone that worked on him thats still doing reworks now- needs to be re-evaluated. Its clear theyre doing something wrong. Either that or youre making them re-rework him because you cant balance (which you cant. Naafiri is so new that reworking him now shows that you dont know how to make a balanced champion. I earnestly think Naafiri's issue is that she is designed to be a simple, easy to play assassin in the same vein as others in her role, but since her kit is pretty straightforward, old players are pretty unlikely to be disloged away from their old ones into playing her. Theoretically this would be fine! These characters are made to be played by new players! The problem is that she costs 6300 Blue Essence, which to a new player is a HUGE deal to commit to a character, especially when you can just pick up one of the several much cheaper champions that fill the same role.
TLDR Riot should make all champions free.
I don't think her problem is the lack of skill expression because Kha'Zix is literally "jump and kill", he does not have "Faker! What was that?!" potential like Zed.
But her main problem, for me at least, is the lack of unpredictfulness. Kha'Zix and Rengar jumps out of nowhere, Kayn clip through walls and Talon jumps them, Zed creates a billion clones and kills you anime-style, but Naafiri just jumps at you in plain sight and that's about it, you are already moving to your tower when she charges the lunge, so it's not even like Rengar or Kha'Zix where you retreat when it's already over.
She plays kinda like a skirmisher when she was supposed to be an assassin.

I disagree with this. There are many reasons why people don't want to play her that don't have to do with her price. The fact that she's just a practice tool to begin with is a terrible design for many. People want a champ they can pick up, and stick with if they choose. There are already lots of assassins that are easy to pick up but hard to master. Talon is one of the easiest assassins in the game and people love playing him in high ELO. Pyke is pretty forgiving for new players with self healing and can also be played at a very high skill level. Another issue is that one of the main points of an assassin is to punish mistakes, and you can't really do that if you're easy to predict. If somebody is interested in playing an assassin, that's one of the big things they're going to be looking for in a champ that Naafiri just doesn't do well enough. If anything it makes her role as an assassin practice tool moot. She's also just hard to balance. She's so easy to execute she becomes OP if she's buffed, but so predictable that if she's nerfed she feels terrible to play.

Those are going to be more midscope updates, i imagine Shyvana was already announced, with these 4 they aren't reworking their entire kits like they are with Shyvana (Dont know about malphite), but they are changing aspects of the kits to make it so players have more incentive to pick these champs, Naafiri is very underwhelming mid lane gets countered by hard cc, havent seen a single ziggs player play mid since ziggs ADC was meta, Swain is my main pick mid and whilst he's not underwhelming he has a low pick rate because tons of champs have ways to bully swain in lane because e is very inconsistent to land which is his main move to land his W and Q, K'sante might honestly just need a midscope update, theres so many things wrong with him i could make a list.
Shyvana is next year and Malphite they just mentioned in the new dev update, saying that they are doing what I've been hoping they would do for years, trying to port the assets and models from Wild Rift and if it works out they can do that faster for a lot more champions!

The main issue with Naafiri is she is a very telegraphed glass cannon. When youre able to get ahead you can definitely run over games but the issue is how telegraphed she is. When you see the giant red as fuck "im coming at you right now" indicator and have hard CC you just get a free trade cause you can displace her out of it so she gets 0 damage from it and a full 22 sec CD to boot you also cant really bait out that CC either cause Naafiri's W is her main engage tool. She is gank prone cause almost all of her mobility is aimed at going in to kill her tiny E dash wont get you away from most junglers and supports so they can feast on her for that, and her early laning is sub par cause she is an R reliant champ (this is why she isnt played in high elo often for example.) She is telegraphed and gank prone just makes her a very unreliable champ consistency wise

@GustavoOliverXD it is a Naafiri problem. 80% of mid laners have a hard CC button that they can just hold so on top of them already out ranging you cause she is a melee champ you can never go in while 1v1 unless they fuck up and in higher elo's they arent just going to throw their hard CC ability out for no reason. Naafiri needs to use her W to engage on someone and its extremely telegraphed and stupid easy to play around. Doesnt matter if you do a fuck ton of damage if you cant get close enough to do it. Also you have to compare Naafiri to other assassin mid laners. Zed can out range with shadows to harass and also has no mana and has the huge outplay potential and a get out of jail free card, talon goes invisible there for not being as predictable where he is coming from, Akali has invisibility and no mana, Ekko has CC and a get out of jail free card, Fizz has CC and untargetability, Qiyana has invisibility and hard CC. Naafiri just has alot of damage and an extremely easy to interupt engage
I think if they lean more into the darkin theme of naafiri it could be useful. I would make two changes, first is the when dagger causes a target to bleed naafiri heals for a percentage of all damage the target takes, increased when that damage is dealt by her dogs. And remove the increased damage on low hp targets, and instead just make it a flat increased damage on bleeding targets. Second is making W a better tool by allowing it to be canceled after casting, additionally when you use w on a target within certain range (near auto range) the dash is instant, but does not chase the target (meaning naafiri dashes to the targeted location not the target). Both of her other abilities are fine as they are, maybe nerfing ult a bit to make up for the increased power of her other abilities.

I don't think this is a good idea personally, the idea was for her to be an easy to play assassin, but she's still not picked much.
We really need to tackle why she's not picked otherwise we just throw buffs on her, then she becomes broken, then she gets nerfed, and we're back to square one.
So what's the main issue?
Is she not good? At high levels, she underperforms, but she's SUPPOSED to. Her kit is ridiculously easy, but she falls prey to hard cc, which literally any of the other assassins do too. So buffing her will do nothing productive.
I think the real problem isn't her strength, it's her design. Dog lovers would like a cute dog. She's not different enough to be a "cool" beast. Her Darkin form makes her look more like a hyena than anything else.
Speaking of her Darkin aspects, she lacks a lot in comparison. It's a unique take, but lacks substance. Aatrox is THE Darkin, and has plenty of fun dialogue. Rhast/Kayn provides a unique back and forth, plus the transformation is another cool part of it. Varus imo is a bit lacking in design, but has a little bit of dialogue to boost him up, and his kit is fun snipes + huge team fight ult.
Naafiri's dialogue is just: "PACK" which again, is a cool take, but gets old quickly.
So I think she'd be in a great spot for a beginner assassin for people to learn to play, then transfer out of, but the other big issue is that she's a "beginner" champ, with a 6300 blue essence cost, which defeats the purpose.
Take the blue essence cost WAY down, and you can leave her as is, she's not going to be a one-trick that you constantly see, but that's ok, if she gets people introduced and learning, she's doing her job.

I sort of hope they bring back the contextual "yank" from the passive. I thought it was really cool that Swain could enhance his allies' CC. I get that it could be really confusing or frustrating if the yank happened and moved a target out of an ally's AoE or skillshot, but i loved the Darth Vader-ass vibes it had.
I'm glad riots looking into swain, im an OTP Swain Mid and he feels so underwhelming compared to most of the champs in mid lane, it's not that he's bad, i never land E, W can only be used when you hit E and recast otherwise champions with dashes in mid lane which there are tons of just disallow the use of the move you'll never land in and most likely have to use w infront of you unless they try to dash to you, or to apply map pressure to side lanes, Q is definitely his best ability, which is surprising considering his ult is good too, procing consistent rylais is great, but you still get one shot by ADC's so the healing is kinda worthless unless you build Swain tanky. Swain's not bad, infact hes quite good IF you get ahead which you normally don't, he easily 2v1's with ghost.

Naafiri has had an identity crisis from the beginning. Her kit is a bruiser kit. No matter how “easy” you make an assasin they need a way out and she just goes in and gets stuck. Put her in the jungle and move her numbers to make her a bruiser and let her be.
Swain main here. Im hoping that with the changes he will receive, it will help him feel better than the poor state he is in now. He has too much of a mesh of things happening; damage, cc, utility, self healing, those kinda things. Im hoping that they can streamline his kit allowing him to excel in fewer attributes rather than having alot of things happening at sub-par power.

Casual swain play here. Swain feels fine. How about champions that actually need gameplay changes? Malphite, Annie, Raka, Garen, I forgot Rek'Sai was even in the game until the video said her name because no one plays her.
Other chanmpions like Gragas and Gankplank also have too many things going on them. The difference is those things work with each other to power the champion, and/or give different builds and playstyles. That doesn't happen with Swain, and I don't think it will happen unless he gets more skill in his kit, aside from landing W or E.
I agree and hope they lean to one side of his kit more. Me personally would love to have more health scaling and healing compared to the recast of ult and bursty side of him.

Not every ability needs a fast missile speed. Being able to dodge reactively is counterplay.
Problem with Swain is that he has too much counterplay. There is a reason why he is only disliked by low elo players, because in higher elos, he is so easily countered by players with mouse and/or brain
@@hugocoolerkanalsmal3172 He is a counterpick and lanebully. If you constantly miss your E thats a skill issue, there are even slower missile speed skillshots that are played.
His E also almost always results in a kill past lvl 3 if hit on a target without flash so its good that its very slow.
Reason Swain is dislikes in highelo is because after others scale up and get ms and defensive stats, he gets progressively weaker. Not really tanky enough even with ult to survive well, not great burst after midgame, sustained dmg way too low, unreliable cc later on.
I also want to note that one reason he is very strong is his ability to statcheck any all in enemy bot wants to make at lvl6 cause his ultimate is still very strong at that point.
looking at k'sante from win rate perspective is like looking at nidalee, if the players don't know how to play their champ it doesn't mean the champ is

The reason why Ziggs is a good botlaner isn't because he's better at 2v2 than 1v1, it's that he's better against marksmen than assassins or other mages. He can farm and poke without being threatened at all in the botlane, and he loves the safety of a long lane.
With swain before his little update preferred how the passive and e worked before i feel like they should add the R bonus hp increase back at the cost of the infinite ult and just make it to where the ult explosion procs his passive and then maybe changing his q to work differently so he can be on even ground with other mages because compared to them he might as well be melee

Swain was perfectly fine right after his rework with mana refund, Q only going though killer enemies, higher burst damage with ult explosion, ult using souls as resource instead of mana, pulling champions with allies cc and without this useless infinite scaling. They started to mess up with his kit for no reason and suddenly he became a support. There is a simple solution to this problem. Just revert all this changes and make him fun and skill expressive again

I think it would be cool if Ziggs leaned more into an artillery mage style kit. If i was designing him, id make his Q gain power with each bounce on the ground it does so youre rewarded more for long range Qs. Maybe a bigger AOE each bounce?
I absolutely love naafiri, my first ad assassin I loved was qiyana, now I enjoy Naafiri just as much as her, I don’t think she needs any changes
Naafiri is enjoyable to play but her new builds makes her less reliable as an assassin and if you don't get ahead she feels awful. Going even sometimes feels just as bad. You basically have to play her like you would a riven or fiora now.
I've always thought about having Naafiri's ult reset on a champion takedown, that way she can properly "hunt" like she's meant to. Obviously numbers would need changing about and such.

Swain has been struggling lately. His late game power is mediocre at best and he really pales in effectiveness when it comes to other mages in the game. They simply do everything he does better. His damage is lacking in some cases, his healing is sub-par and sometimes its not even close to being enough to survive most fights. This is not say he's completely useless tho. He also has his strengths and he's pretty good at them such as team fighting, but overall he's not really satisfying to play. His passive's infinite scaling is the most useless part of his kit which also takes up a lot of power budget which could go into his other abilities and make them feel better to use. His E is also a pretty big problem as your opponents can literally just walk out of it and deny you a big chunk of healing you could've gotten from the soul fragments.
TLDR: swain needs buffs and lots of adjusments😭
Make Swain a control/battlemage hybrid again like Pre-VGU. He has 3 different types of ranges which doesn´t fit together. Q is melee Range, E is longer range and W is just super long range.
You need to be further away from the enemy to hit E and even if you pull you won´t get most of the time the maximum bolts from Q onto the enemy. You NEED to hit E to hit W, because it is almost impossible to hit someone without any CC.
Change his Q into Laser-Bird so Swain can operate like a control mage/battlemage in semi-long range again. This change should also feel rewarding in landing combos that actually deal damage. The idea is to keep enemies as long as possible in Laser-Bird range to get maximum damage. Give Q old Laser-Bird numbers and remove Demonflare (R2) from the kit.
I want chunky non-ultimate spell combos that feel rewarding and like I am playing an actualy warlock who made a pact with a demon. Decrease the damage over time from Ult and increase the healing or vice versa and for everything that is holy, remove the unlimited Ultimate uptime if any enemy is near him, it´s a toxic mechanic. Make it toggle and let it have increased mana regen per second, so it lasts longer but at the cost of not being able to spam spell combos because of depleting resources in the form of mana loss per second.

The reason Ziggs bot is so popular is mostly due to how mid has evolved to not favor him sort of like Morgana. However he is a good ap carry due to him being able to do p much everything an adc can do but better. Can safely farm and shove waves, can shred towers for easy sieging, has very strong poke and early all-in potential, and can build as either a burst mage or a full-on tank shredder. I guess they want to make it so he can hold his own mid and remove another mage from the bot lane pool.
Naafiri was released yesterday, meanwhile shyvana is waiting for a rework for a whiiiile now

His infinite ult is one of the worst parts of his kit, as it forces it to be very low elo sqeewed. Enemies need to stand inside his R for like 15 seconds in order for it to have the same effect as the old one had in like 8 seconds

Would love to see him reworked into a full fighter that can stance swap like jayce and nidalee for example, that way his not a tank in fights and just be a either a Juggernaut (tonfa) or a Skirmisher (bladed tonfa).
Another interesting idea is having K'sante have a similar rage mechanic like Gnar. When ever he has full "rage" his tonfas would shatter turning it into bladed tonfas that change his gameplay from Juggernaut to Skirmisher like I mention before. I would genuinely love this idea honestly cuz this would change his identity a lot. I love k'sante, but I'm not liking the direction his going as a tank.
Naafiri rework is easy: make her long jump not a point and click, instead make it follow the mouse pointer similarly to Yumis Q , also make it a fast hold to charge that will control the duration of the jump+ make it so while the duration is active you can pass through enemies and damage them (without stopping, instead to force a stop reuse the button), and for her second small jump its quite easy, make its cd shorter and instead make one of her dogos jump to the targeted area and get stuck on attacking champion's they'vr hit on landing, that would be a nice rework
An other option to make her more assassin/trickster would be to spread out her dogs more and give her the ability to swap places with one of her dogs at will.
So to be able to use her as decoys too and escape some incoming skillshots/damage
People don't play nafiri because she doesn't have crazy team kill potential, ways to reduce or reset cooldown or ways to just go in and out easily
... so people don't play nafiri because she is the only actual assassin of the game, having high burst using high cd ability with a kit made to find and kill the most important target of the ennemy team

to be fair, the reason why Naafiri is not popular is because of the bad design. She is a literal jungle camp, and her puppy/pack mechanic is pretty stupid.

As much as I've come to enjoy Naafiri, she's far too simple for her own good. She needs some nuance in her kit that actually gives some form of notable skill expression. I think I would unironically like it if they made the Packmates attack faster or making her W's charge time get reduced, both potentially scaling off of Attack speed.
My idea for Ziggs rework could be a change to his passive. Instead of emporewing his AA, maybe he could empower his abilities to do more damage or something else.
I'd totally play Naafiri if she was jungle-viable and could play anything else than First Strike with the stupid ball following her

Ziggs doesn't need a rework really, he is fine as he is, he is a purely skill based champion with an alright kit. The only thing would be if his W could be thrown faster, so you have an easier time redirecting enemies/yourself exactly the way you want and the E could maybe be spread out a tiny bit more.
Naafiri always had her issues, she is just not that appealing to play, her Q needs to hit twice to really deal damage and the rest of her kit just doesn't really do anything? Sure, a little dash that can hop walls and a mini Nocturne R are nice and all, but it's really not that interesting or useful. Her W and passive are like the only stuff I would potentially keep.
K'Sante is just stupid, this champ should never have existed. A tank that can constantly dash, make himself unstoppable easily on a basic ability, can kidnap an enemy, deal tons of damage if needed, has true damage, never dies, can pull enemies etc. etc. it's regarded, really.
I’ve played swain since he was a man with a laser bird… his new theme is great but since day one of his rework I always felt his true power should be in his Q. His Q should feel like a graves auto attack in my option and nerf everything else accordingly
Ziggs shoulda always been able to detonate his q earlier in my honest opinion
I recommend they fire there entire design department and try again with fresh eyes and brains not rotted by 200 years of game design
For nafiri I believe they should move a lot of her Power budget from her q And put it into her e Along with her passive Q spam feel So garbage I honestly believe she's better off a bruiser The fantasy of a pack of dogs running you down. Feel so much better

Im surprised no demands xerath's lore gets retconned out of existence do to the poor writing.
So what I am hearing is they are reworking champs that AREN'T in dire need of a rework. Naafiri is too 'new' to already warrant a rework, in fact, there are so many older champs that needs a rework to keep up with the 200 year champs, but Riot just ignores them. Also, where the hell is that Shyvanna rework? Like are we gonna skip past that or...?
For me, K'Sante has three major issues:
1) Conversion of resistances into damage: This mechanic is hard to balance with tank items, making him either too tanky, too damaging, or both at the same time.
2) XP-based scaling on r passive : This means he requires very little to deal significant damage while staying extremely tanky.
3) W reset mechanic: This is too strong, allowing him to escape easily after using R, become unstoppable three times, and reduce damage twice by using W R W, making him too mobile and hard to punish.
My solutions:
Reduce reliance on resistances: Shift his build towards more health and less resistance like Tank/Bruiser, similar to Shen, Dr. Mundo, or Poppy.
Damage scaled by gold: Ensure his ultimate form's damage scales with gold, making him less dangerous if he falls behind.
Modify the W reset: Change or remove the dash from W to reduce his mobility and make him more punishable.
K'Sante doesn't need a complete rework, just some adjustments to better balance his mechanics.
I think they shouldn't have make Naafiri into a dog. They should make her into a female darkin more human like, commanding dogs and throwing daggers. I think people would play her more likely for the look than the actual gameplay
They need to revert Swain rework, old swain with laser crow was waaaaaay more popular, fun and stronger.

I liked swain more when you could still pull enemies towards you when your allies also cc'd them. Maybe do a change where he can pull all cc'd enemies towards him like now, but interactive with allies. Could be too op though...

Honestly I’ve liked K’sante since release (not saying he isn’t op, just saying i like his kit), but I never liked his ult turning him into an assassiny-aatrox type character so I haven’t played him much. I would prefer they made him a full tank and gave him a transformer ult which is what I thought they’d do based on his teasers or just a normal engage tank ultimate.

Naafiri - when she dropped I didn't even know she's an assasin and built her as a bruiser... I means she looks like one :| why not going this route as her default and more experienced players would go assasin? (Like sion or reksai)
Ziggs - what about his doom bot / odyssey augments? More Q for Q, additional E for Q, slowly homing E? R splitting into smaller Rs?

the problem I have with naafiri is that she is too predictable, as a talon otp she is even more straight forward than him and (in master elo) you don't deal dmg fast enough as you need to touch ur 2 Q which is hard and not get blocked when using your W. She was strong on release but had to be balanced for newbies so I will stick with talon
Personally, as someone who plays K'Sante, they should just make the R a toggle that lets you swap between tank and DPS mode at anytime (like Jayce and Nidalee), since that was the biggest selling point back at his original tease. It'll be easier to balance the stats out in that way too and not worry about making the DPS form WAY too powerful for a short time.

i also play ksante, Ive seen people talking about making his ult/transformation more like gnars, where in time his weapons slowly crumble, and alllow him to finally go full dps, it also makes sense thematically for him to break the tonfas while fighting
