The Beatles had such a string of Number One hit songs. Clever title too... Days A Week. A romping good time track!
As for Ringo's drum sound in this track, he would put towels on his drums to get this muffled sound. He would do this occasionally through the years.

My best friend had the 45. We'd sit out on her front porch and play this and Ticket to Ride over and over. I was 8 YO, I'm about to be 68. Funny how music makes such strong memories.

This song. I listened and thought how cynically crafted this tune is. The musical pause during “I Lu-oo-uu-uu-uh-View”…
Similar vibe to the Turtles’ Happy Together song.
Lennon set the tone. These were adults cynically crafting a perfect pop song. Genius.
Ringo was still Mersey Beating in this song. I granted Ringo the Mersey Beat King title. It’s definitely a style.
What set Ringo apart was his ability to support melody. The vocals hung on his constant cues and support like his drumming supported rhythmic phrasing. Nobody told him not to. And he always rocked out!
Interesting take. You have a good vocabulary. Amongst several channels displaying linguistic malfeasance, you are pretty good. Like this.
    Thanx! ✌️🥳

Early Beatles music as so happy sounding. It was an explosion of joy all over the music landscape, Having conquered America just under three months after the horrible John Kennedy assassination, the Beatles was the cheering up teenager and the country needed. Also after Beatles for Sale album and while their music still remained upbeat, they would start to move away from the happy pop sound to more complex music.

I LOVE the "BEATLES FOR SALE" album. Would love to see you react to "EVERY LITTLE THING"...... "WHAT YOU'RE DOING" ...... "I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY".......
"NO REPLY"...... and "WORDS OF LOVE' (which is a cover of a BUDDY HOLLY song, but I LOVE how they do it) THESE are my very favorite songs on this album, and most people don't react to them, or know them, unless they are a fan like I am. Hope you will keep reacting to the Beatles music as well as their solo works, and WINGS.
