Way to go tuck that’s a once in a lifetime experience for those of us on the east coast we know you did the best you could thanks tuck for sharing much ❤
That was so cool. It was mostly throughout the 70's when my husband and I used to go to beautiful Cape May, NJ. We lived in Maryland and went to Long Beach Island for the week of July 4th every year.
This was fun to see before the movie comes out! Tucker you did a fantastic video and captured a lot of footage. That’s awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜 Enjoy your life 😊
They film so much in and around my town of Wilmington N.C. I live in a small beach town outside of Wilmington. The state gives money incentives to draw films to the area. A while back the powers that be decided to stop the funding and the movie and TV people took their movies to Georgia. The incentives have been somewhat restored and they just finished a movie in my tiny town. You are right, it is mostly waiting hours to film one scene. Then it’s right back to waiting. I’ve been on set before and it’s even boring to watch it close up. 😂 Have really enjoyed these last couple months of your videos. Not that I haven’t liked them all, but lately it’s been so fun. I enjoy pallet auctions and storage units. Then there is Finley. Adorable just like her parents. ❤
Man what you find and stumble on is great, how they recreate from what you know . I was witness to Gravesend, Levittown , LI, NY. Filming. Great content, thanks for sharing with us
The Newport Film Festival is held every year in Newport, Rhode Island ! Bob Dyllan played there in 1965, along with him other people who played was Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix !
Hi tucker, that’s great to see filming going on near where you live, it gives an insert as it was like if you see old photos of the area, my family and I were visiting framlingham Castle in Suffolk last year , and as we were approaching the square it was all penned off for a filming crew we managed to sit on the cafes outside tables and watch them cool atmosphere 😊
Very exciting. Other movies were filmed in Cape May, also in Atlantic City. I live in Toms River (New Jersey) and remember when they filmed "The Amityville Horror" (and its sequels) in our town in the 1970s.
The drive inn I worked at had drive up stalls. They liked that so we had 2 different movies and 1 series filmed there. I met some of the actors, I cooked the food for the set. For the one scene that took all of 2 1/2 minutes of the movie by 6 hours to film , I made the same hamburger 25 times . They needed it fresh . About 10 of the cars for the 1 movie were 1950 60. My boss was paid good money, did I see any of it for my time , He'll No.. I don't know if it's the same there , but they have to hire a %age of locals when filming
So much fun! When the movie comes out it’s cool to see exactly what you saw. We’re in Pgh Pa. Lots of movies filmed here. When you watch the Batman movies they jump from Pittsburgh to New York. It’s so much fun to see your city in movies. 🎥 🍿 🎦 plus some of our friends were x tras. Such fun. Hollywood enjoy!
Just fyi never notified if you had drip auctions today……….Great video live to the extreme!!! Didn’t even know this was happening but know exactly were it is that is sooooooooo cool!!!
6:42 The first guy carrying the guitar case looks like the star, Timothy Chalamet (also the star of the new Dune, which I despise, but everyone else adores).
Used to be a Cheap Place to stay,at CONGRESS Hall. They did a complete Renovation of it. Now it is Pricy$ Got Nice Shops inside. I was Young way back when.
It was a cool thing to experience. I'm a local and when I was doing photo's I used other people as shields so they wouldn't see my camera as much. They were hawking me for sure though once they noticed me lol The same guy that told you not to film said to me on the second day I went there "We never forget people with a camera" but they were cool to anyone being respectful so I did the same thing as you and gave them their space when asked. Still got plenty of shots and footage though lol Cool experience to see unfold in our town. They got more intense with telling people no photo's or video's on their second day at the mall. I guess they freaked out a bit seeing all of the photo's of the set and actors being posted online after the first day. Like you said, what did they expect filming in a popular beach town? lol Loved your video, great work. I subscribed 👍
Yeah they were all cool and just doing their job. Was kinda wild to start filming a blockbuster movie in the middle of a public street and expect people not to film. Honestly no one had to stop filming it was 100% legal to film and they knew it.
@@tuckandsammie Yeah it was wild. I knew a good amount of the cops doing security so I would stand near them and take photo's so they wouldn't bother me as much. I like how the guy said to you "try to be discreet" instead of scolding you. That one girl watching the one side of the set was really nice and never really gave me a hard time. It was mostly just in that main area on the mall where they were really on alert. I used my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to film and they had no idea what it was. I held it at my chest and they never told me to stop filming. They were paying more attention to me taking photo's. Terrible weather week for them but cool to watch it all unfold. I was joking with some of my friends that were on duty there and we said "A week of filming and all this production for probably 10-15 minutes worth of footage that they'll use for the film"
The store they used is Galvanic and it’s a pricey clothing store with a tree in the middle of It. Before It was Galvanic It was Cucina Rosa one of the all time best cm Italian restaurants in my opinion. Great behind the scenes footage!! They were looking for locals to be extras. You would have been perfect!!😊
We did that in Savanah they were filming The legend of Bagger Vance....we saw Will Smith, Rbt Redford (directing)Charlize Theron & Bruce McGill all talked with us a crowd of 30.....lots of cable, classic cars from 1930's costumes , 24:51 running along the walkways, lights
I was lucky to meet Steven Tyler from Aerosmith when he made the music video crying. Right down the street from my home. It was the coolest thing to witness. Newport , Rhode Island is about 20 to 30 minutes from my home.
In 1999, the movie "Message in a Bottle" starring Paul Newman, Kevin Costner, and Robin Wright was filmed in Maine. I lived within a mile of one of the locations, New Harbor, where they stayed for about 2 months. It was awesome. I saw Kevin within 6 feet. Drop dead gorgeous. Horror stories about Robin, demanding and horrible off set. Paul, I only saw from a distance but a true gentleman. It was a night scene between him and Kevin that looked like day with all the lights. Oh, and yes, all the boats in the harbor had their homeport changed. That was funny because the story took place in North Carolina. Look it up.
The real Newport is here in Rhode Island. I live 20 min from there. The folk festival still goes on til this day!! Cape may and Newport look similar. Very cool!!🤘
In the mid 70' my mom,dad brother and I went to see grandma 👵 and G-PA in Spokane Washington. Well Bob Dylan was there playing in the food area where the wooden picnic tables were there was a stage. This was the Spokan expo fair ! I didn't realize who I was seeing until I got older. I was probably 13 or 14. Just wanted to share my story about Bob Dylan. It wS amazing. There was all this computer and futuristic stuff there.
If you had taken your hat off and showed your long hair they might have thought you were an extra in the movie. Almost everyone had longer hair back then. Thanks for showing us the set. It was interesting Yes I love Bob Dylan's music
They filmed the Adam Sandler movie 🎥🍿 Mr. Deeds in my town the mainst. Railroad Street. Was turned into the deeds town . Got to meet Sandler and 80s icon actress ⭐ Winona Ryder so Cool I was 18 in highschool skipped school a bunch of days they filmed practically the whole movie their in CT
One would think with all of the filming you do, and have done your whole life, you would have some stealth mounts for your GoPro and iPhone. Like inside your jacket with a hole cut out for the lens. They sell clips for these devices to articulate in every which way imaginable. Then again, I'm not sure of the law in NJ concerning filming people without their knowledge then posting it to YT.📽🎥📷📸
Tucker, if you were filming one of your many epic videos you wouldn't want others taking pictures and videos either. You want to promote your own stuff, not others! I get it! ;)
I use to work there doing.banquet.but quit after three weeks ..the amount of food that was going in the trash was insane. After the events were over there was still a lot of food that was untouched and instead of letting us workers have some or even giving to the homeless they would throw it all out..
Did not expect this Video. It was Great! I stayed at CONGRESS HALL.Years ago. Parked My Sportster Bike under the Roof. Could not do that Now? Got Real Uppidity,No WONDER the MOVIE is being Filmed There. I got on a MOVIE SET in BETHLEHEM SANDS CASINO,TRANSFORMER MOVIE was Filmed There. Congress Hall ,had Ulyssis Grant stayed there & John Phillip Sousa stayed there. Lot of History. Had Me Smile when You got the Drone Up. & Liked when U brought up the Technicality about the Picture vs. Film. Even the 1 Guy appreciated it,that told U not 2 take pic. 1 More Thing? thought of, was I met a Guy YEARS AGO & His OLD HEARST was used in the MOVIE 2 BITS ,& Al Pacino was in it. That Guy Told Me AL PACINO was a ASSHOLE! Cause He said 2 AL,HOW is it going AL? Al P. Corrected Him & said it is MR.PACINO 2 U. Acted real Uppidity!!! LOL! Enjoy this Once again.
I've been an extra on two movies and on one hand it's pretty easy money but can be long hours, they paid me for using my car for two days, one day just parked, the other day a little bit of driving around. The downside is you lose a sense of magic once you see how movies are made.
The Newport Jazz Festival was a big deal in the days of folk singers.....like Bob Dylan. But Dylan showed up one year and played an electric guitar for the 1st time and all the "acoustic" old timers flipped out. Thats probably one of the main points of this movie. But your video is probably much cooler than the film.
I heard a while ago that they were going to be filming parts of the new Superman movie near me in Ohio. I forgot all about it. I wonder if it's happened yet? I'll have to try to find out.
I think you two should change estate sales, ysourcing from pick up off the street. I am rarely impressed with what you get off the street, I think flea market , estate sale, yard sale where you can get nice things that are worth selling. Those Pickers really rake in cash.
Very cool video thanks for sharing to you and your family have a wonderful weekend the dream is real .
Someday in the future a movie will be made about the life and times of Tucker and Sammi. And their 3 children
Bob Dylan baby!!! How exciting 🎉🎉🎉

They did a great job on the set i agree.

I think it's basic copywriting laws ? Your going there filming before the movie is made. Hence you could end up with a file through your letterbox
