Back in the late 1970s I once went to Rev. Ikes church, but he wasn't there that Sunday. I got one of his books it was a great book by a great man Rev. Ike. I believe I was the only White person there, and they welcomed me.

I love this Preacher. His lesson, ideas and quest for a better self resonates with me. When it comes to bettering oneself, one shouldn't be unapologetic. There so many televangelist, who haven't been very honest about their intentions. I love him and his lesson are very relevant today. I listen to him every morning during my 5:30 am walk. RIP Rev. One of the few honest pastors about wealth. Others like wealth but hide and yet they also live plush. In this world we need money and that's why God created money. God himself is the richest, for the earth is His and all the Universe. We serve a rich God and we are created IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS. Ride on....Preach it Reverend!!!! Christianity is not about poverty. How will we spread the Word if we don't have money to bless them and to go to where they are? I hope people realize money in the 21st century is a construct to measure economic output and to some extent power and influence. It only has value because we believe it has value and governments say it’s legal tender. Although Its supply can be increased and decreased on a whim, it is not distributed to the masses and feels more scarce than what it actually is. By design everyone cannot have lots of money.
I honestly know nothing of Rev. Ike, he came up in my feed about a week ago & I have listened to several sermons & shorts...I think some preachers of today are copying him, i was so so surprised to hear some of Rev. Ikes catch phrases that MY pastor has been using!

I remember him from when I was growing up. He came on tv late 11:30 pm.
One of the few honest pastors about wealth. Others like wealth but hide and yet they also live plush.
In this world we need money and that's why God created money. God himself is the richest, for the earth is His and all the Universe. We serve a rich God and we are created IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS.

Christianity is not about poverty. How will we spread the Word if we don't have money to bless them and to go to where they are? There's no fun in poverty yet on can be as wealthy and still be a good Christian.

I hope people realize money in the 21st century is a construct to measure economic output and to some extent power and influence. It only has value because we believe it has value and governments say it’s legal tender. Although Its supply can be increased and decreased on a whim, it is not distributed to the masses and feels more scarce than what it actually is. By design everyone cannot have lots of money.
