This is a great cover of a classic standard. Nothing beats the steady rhythm guitar and bass, gorgeous clarinet, precise solo guitar and wonderful vocals. Great jazz is a 'conversation' between the instruments, each waiting to make their statement.
Absolutely wonderful. Nice solos by all. I’m partial to clarinet ( I play ) so I can’t help but admire ( and envy) Chloe’s creativity, musicality and dexterity. So nice to hear. I live in Toronto, a city that boasts a very well supported jazz radio station. However, for the most part, the programmers ignore clarinet players. I’m thankful that people such as Mr. Sterling are posting these performances on TH-cam. Jazz lovers deserve to hear people such as Chloe and not just more Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane wannabes. And by the way, I do enjoy the music of both Shorter and Coltrane. And even some of the wannabes.
one of my favorites...first heard by me by Louis Armstrong recording. I do this song for senior homes. Not only does Chloe's technique blow me away, her tone his superb and pleasing to the ear. It never changes from the chalumeau to the altissimo range.
Na tuto nahrávku jsen náhodou narazil při vyhledávání Chloe Feroanzo. Úžasné, to pohladí duši! I stumbled upon this moment while searching for Chloe Feroanzo. Amazing, it caresses the soul! Miro Lach❤
Hallo Pops, have u or James all ready found Shaye Cohn playing Trombone on TH-cam and not just that picture which comes from James Sterling and thanks for that info to me.
No. But I believe the all-ladies band (put together by Shaye and including Chloë from the video above) will be performing again soon, so let us hope someone will video them.
You all are outrageously GREAT! Thanks. I'd like to see you in person but that probably won't happen because I live out here on the west coast in an insane asylum. They call it California.
Chloe Feoranzo is from San Diego and frequently returns to California to play. I would encourage you to find Conrad Cayman, a good friend of Chloe's, who has his own jazz band called The Big Butter Jazz Band based in L.A. You will love them if this is your kind of music.
@@JamesSterling Thanks James ! I'm a musician myself (fiddle) and this is one of the jazz styles I like. A friend of mine, Paul Shelaski, who I haven't seen in years, first introduced me to this music when he occasionally played with the Rhythm Rascals. Thanks again for the direction
During the short time Chloe has been in New Orleans she already has played with many different groups. She has just started a calendar of her gigs on her web page. I found out about this performance on the web page just about an hour before it began. www.chloefeoranzo.com/gigs-1/?view=calendar&month=June-2016
I just missed such a possibility the afternoon before this video. Shaye put together an all ladies group that played at the Dragon's den. I was in N.O. but only became aware of it after the fact. Read about it here: playing-traditional-jazz.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/traditional-jazz-what-line-up.html Chloe playing with Tuba Skinny is something all of us would like to see and hear.
That is what I call a superb tone on the clarinet and chloe's technical and musical abilities are extraordinary!
So beautiful !!
IT's really great to see young musicians playing and preserving this beautiful music.
Chloe is just brilliant.
Agreed. For more proof see: th-cam.com/video/rTFXYDyBRr4/w-d-xo.html
Perfect combination of instruments and voice for this song.

What an amazing opinion, "a conversation between the instruments, each waiting to make their statement". I could. Not agree more.
If you enjoy this I suggest checking out Ewan Bleach's youtube channel. He and John Kelly made some excellent music on guitar, clarinet and piano
Absolutely wonderful. Nice solos by all.

Pops Coffee up Hz note hi hi hi öü
Thanks for these videos.
Wow I came looking for this song live and found Chloe from Postmodern Jukebox!
This was before Chloe joined PMJ. She was already quite famous among jazz enthusiasts before she was asked to join PMJ.
Just wonderful!
Excellent really enjoyed this.
Really enjoyable. Keep them coming.

Mellow and easy! Chloe gets it!
Lovely stuff. With Chloe now in New Orleans (?), what other match-ups may there be?

Amazing talent.....turn that cats mic up on the vocals.......
Go Chloe!
The ultimate combination would be with Shaye Cohn-that's probably inevitable-hopefully it will be captured for TH-cam…

Chloe, playing with Shaye, Erika and Craig ...
Une vidéo rare !
Really Hot!
El sonido de las guitarra y la voz sonmuy pobres. Falta equilibrio.
A bit boring this one to be honest .
So is your comment...
