Its awesome man! Just curious though, in v1.4.1 Cherry requires a condition to use her alt f.special guitar attack. Will this be permanent for future versions? I think it would be really nice to have that condition removed because that condition prevents me from utilizing it effectively for a speedrun :( Her guitar attack is extremely useful and to have that input simplicity taken away is just heartbreaking man lol. Im just so used to having that great move for speedruns and scoreruns. i could only hope for the future i suppose. Adam is an absolute beast though, very enjoyable at the moment
@@KOSODRAGON Thanks for the feedback, I think you have a valid point, and the move doesn't seem like it's too OP. I'll have a chat with the team and will see if we can make it work somehow, because currently I think it's most likely the complexity exists because we didn't manage to find a good way to map alt offensive without it clashing with the original offensive. I'll need to clarify this with the fellla's that did the most testing (I'm mostly just building the modding tools at the moment) I haven't tested all that much, but I suspect that adding a mapping say forward forward special for it would make it very hard to execute the original special due to the inputs being too similar. You might always get the move you don't want while you're trying to execute the other (if that makes sense). One idea I can think of, is to map it to forward forward pickup. This will be a bit inconsistent with how it works with cancels, but I think it could work (we prefer not to change the mappings too much as it means we need to republish the guides, and stuff might not work the same way). What do you think?

However i do think that down + pick up would be even better. I wonder though if its possible to assign a characters alt special to an entirely different button? If not then, i suppose down + pick up button would be the next best thing
@@KOSODRAGON This was one of the main challenges we had with characters that have runs/dashes. We could map it to forward forward special (which I like more personally), but it means that if you run towards an enemy and press special, the alt will probably come out, and there won't be a way to do neck break in situations you might want it instead. As a Cherry player, do you foresee that there would be cases where during a run you might want to use either of the alt offensives? Due to how we design moves in Reignited, personally I think both options should be available to the player so they can choose what they want to do

But as you said, maybe it's best just to give players the option to choose between the default and alternative moveset. I agree with that. And in my opinion, only when its been figured out, the challenge of assigning alt special to a different button, then add all this to a new version of Reignited. I think that may take a long time. But i think it will be worth it when that task is completed
