Udyr is only like that when your good. If you cannot keep up this macro you won't be doing this in your games. Udyr is extremely susceptible to CC trick counters with movement but not many league players can play this champ like that.

I dont understand where the "hard part" is, you keep running to your lane killing CS and then you keep running to side lane using your mobility and resistances to not die there and also push cs. I just feel like noone really enjoys doing that and thats where trick is special ...he loves it xD
