I am a service plumber. I used a aqua jetting machine when I worked for plumbing company that was in another county. It was I believe a U.S.jetter brand that was trailer mounted and all. These aqua jetting rigs are in my opinion the best way to go AS LONG as your not in someone's house who's bird dog'n you every step of the way about getting water or any spec on their floors. I take every precaution and especially now since I went out on my own. I believe this set up you have will work really well for some of the applications I need it for..Thanks for a very good video, Every bit of what you said and described is 100% true folks!
I really like your looping process. Never thought of looping it this way to avoid the tangling. Going to do it your way as I really hate the tension of the tangling of these pressure washer hoses. 👍👍
Good tip with the hose ...... Just wondering what kind of gallons per minute and psi is good for this type of thing. I am Looking to buy a new pressure washer.... I have a jet tip with 100foot hose hooked up to my electric 1800 psi ......it’s not cutting it. Thanks for the videos...
how did you get such a long hose for your pressure washer? did it come with the fancy nozzle you showed? Are long hoses rather standard so they fit all pressure washers?
Thanks for the video and tip you did a good job 👍🙂. May i know how much psi you running at 2:46 of the video thanks. There’s no blockage that can not remove on that pressure.
We think our downspouts drain to an underground drain field. Is it still ok to use this method to flush the clog? I guess it would just push it to the field. House built in 1950.
I’ve been in the pressure washing business for 30 years and gutter cleaning was an add on. When you refer to the 5.5 opening, I believe you are referring to the size of your water pump on your pressure washer, are you not? It appears you have a Honda GX690 which would mate perfectly with a 5.5 GPM pump. It is important to size all tips to the size of your water pump. Under ground drains are not something I ever bothered with and should have. I’m just too busy washing houses with my crews. Getting ready to retire this year. Your videos are excellent.
You're welcome. We have a $225 minimum. Usually $50-100 per inlet. Pipes come together underground so we count by entrance not exit. For residential downspouts drains the linear ft average out.
@@kevindale2010 okay so if I just use a high pressure valve I don't need to have the line connected to a Pressure Washer Machine is that right? I'm trying to do it myself and have no experience at all...
@@loneroffroad4036 you will still need a pressure washer or jetting machine to create your pressure. The ball valve, foot peddle, and washer wand are just different ways to control the flow of the water.
@@divcleaningservice9522 Hey there DIV... I bought the 50 foot version of this exact "hydro snake" and have unclogged a shower drain, a kitchen drain, one toilet and every leaf ridden down spout I have. I consider this a miracle tool for home owners who have a pressure washer.
I put my 300 ft of quarter inch on a hose reel from tractor supply which works really well and we look like pros. Also do not use corrugated on underground, period! Use on perforated rigid pipe with holes facing down. After 22 years of specializing in drainage you either DO IT RIGHT OR GO HOME, PERIOD!
I use a high pressure reel now, but it's always nice to know how to wrap lines so they don't tangle. I was just teaching 2 new workers today how to do the "over/under" method.
Wow... why did you crunch up the downspout.... a little time, and a few screws removed and viola...comes right off... will not be calling you out....lol

Outstanding presentation and live examples... Sharing these tricks of the trades is greatly appreciated!!
I learned something new I will wrap up my hose like that next time thanks 🤙
awesome!
Thanks for the hose looping tip!
You bet!
I wonder if a coil can be attached to jets as well. To snag roots allowing it to be pulled out
i like that tipe at the end, never thought of that.
hope it helps!
I didn’t see you use the pressure machine so what kind the think do you use to make it that pressure it interesting
It's a pressure washer engine/pump. 8GPM about 3000 psi
How long is your hose? ❤️🙏

Works great with extension cords too.

just want to know since you are not using a pressure water hook up, what is the hose nozzel used?
We do use a pressure washer for the jetter. The hose nozzle is to refill our buffer tank
Good tip with the hose ......

The higher the GPM the better. I personally use an 8GPM Machine. I have also used a GPM. So higher pressure, higher GPM the better.
How match pressure do ur equipment aply in bar
aobut 3000psi, 8GPM

About 3000 psi. 8GPM It's not going to cut big roots with this tip, but it will blast past/apart smaller ones.
Can you send a link to the hose and tips you are using?
Does the water pressure from the nozzel help push the hose farther into the pipe?
yes, the forward hole blasts debris apart and out of the way. The backwards holes propel the jet forward and flush the pipe.
do you ever use a water dowser for these situations?
Hello. Will 2500psi with the hydro tip work on 3”-4” pvc pipe drain out the mud that’s stuck in there ?
Maybe, GPM is more important than pressure.
How long is the cable hose you are using ?
Hey bro, how did u connect the cleaning end tip (with the Jets) to the hose? Are u using an adapter? Thanks
direct thread or quick connect. sometimes the quick connects make it too bulky.
We think our downspouts drain to an underground drain field. Is it still ok to use this method to flush the clog? I guess it would just push it to the field. House built in 1950.
If you back flush you should be able to blast most of the debris out.
What happens to the broken up debris? Doesn’t it jus bung up somewhere else along the line later?
We use the backwards facing jets to flush it out of the line.

I was probably referring to the orifice size of the jetter tip. This is a 8GMP pump
U use the 50 foot or the 100 foot line ???? I hav a prob at my house wanna order one
We use both. 50ft gets the job done most times. Less resistance on the machine too.
Thank you for this video. Good tip about the hose.
Glad it was helpful!
Have never seen a hose bib that turns clockwise to turn on or the hose backsword too.
Interesting. I don't think I have.
Awesome! Thanks for the video. How do you price this?

Why is the video mirrored?
Where did you get the hose from. All I can find are 100ft. I need at least 300ft for mine lol
jetterdepot .com I'm sure has longer hoses
Nice... how much do you charge for doing a job like that?
$225 minimum.
Can we buy a hose thing like that to do it ourselves?
Sure, you can get them off Amazon. But they are only so effective with home owner grade pressure washers.
I'm looking to buy a hydro jett. To service apt. My budget is under 10k shou I buy the skid or could I get away with it with a cart jett
Go for highest GPM you can afford. We have truck mounted because we also do pressure washing.
Where did you get the 5.5 nozzle
Amazon has them for cheap I believe. If not then Google a "jetter" store
Thank you so much for doing this video
God bless you
Glad it was helpful!
What gun are you using do you have a link ?
Just a regular pressure washing gun
What do you charge pure line ?
$100 minimum.
Great video thanks.
You're welcome!
What kind of trigger gun is that? Does it have to be a specific one? If you dont mind telling me. Thanks!
It appears hes using a pressure washer trigger for his line. You can also use a high pressure valve.
Yes, just a pressure washing trigger. Ball valve or foot peddle valve work great.

Very True, thank you!
Great vid. Thanks.

What jetter kit are you using?
cheap one off Amazon
Water wants to flow down hill so I'd think inserting the jetter from the down hill end is the way to do it.
We always "backflush" once we find where the pipes "daylight" sometimes the exits are buried so we have to start at the inlet.
Awesome thank you.
You are welcome!
Good job have you tried this system on poop stoppages yet
Nope, you couldn't pay me enough to play in poop.
@@divcleaningservice9522 so you just clean gutters and area drains

if it was "hollow" as you say that implies that it is "empty".... if it is full of water it would not sound hollow...
umm. . .
Nice work. How long did this job take you? Looks complex and frustrating.
Definitely frustrating on this job. It was the toughest to unclog out of our last 50 jobs. Still took less than 1 hour.
loop magic lol thx bro
No problem
That down spout also looks connected incorrectly. The upper part should be inside the lower not outside it.
These gutters and downspouts were all replaced after this video.

Why don’t you get a bigger watermark? That way you could block out all of the screen out instead of just a tenth of it😂
lol. Somehow we do get a lot of local clients finding our videos. I know the watermarks can be annoying, but it helps us get work.
Must be a bad clog my guy is in his Jorts with those Crocs locked in 4 low

Using a Macktruck to kill a mouse!
I guess that's one way of looking at it.
Damn you just destroyed that gutter pipe
It's been so long since this video, but if I remember correctly they were replacing the gutters and pipes the next day.
Get a hose reel and stop fighting with it.
Great tip!
What a mess you making man.
Thats what we get paid to do. Make a mess then clean it up. Lol 😆
Maybe you should get a real Jetter
yeah I really need to!
It is better when you start at the drain-out end.
YES. If you know the location of the end, stat there. This way you can back flush all the debris out of the line.
