- In this final of three episodes, Hay & Kyle take on the stunning, Holy Isle. Situated just off the coast of the Isle of Arran, this incredible island is a sanctuary for not only animals, but also resident Buddhists! In this video, we'll discover together the history of the island, before hiking, (and climbing) to the summit of the island, Mullach Mòr at over 1000 feet above sea level. Well done series, thanks! Watching what I can about Arran from here in the States prior to visiting it in May to celebrate my sister's 75th birthday, she lives just up the Firth of Clyde in Dunoon. We'll be in Arran for 4 days, I wish we had more time than that as there are so many beautiful things to see as presented in your beautiful 3 part series. I'm a hillwalker (hiker) here in the Blue Ridge Mtns of Virginia so I will disappear one day to do Goatfell. I understand the dodgy knee coming down, I had knee surgery 3 months before doing the West Highland Way in 2018. Going up was fine but coming down to our accomodations each afternoon took a little longer than normal, the pain was quickly forgotten however after a wee dram of Single Malt!

Great watch. Lots to explore on that small Holy Island - it looked divine and is now on the bucket list! That was a sketchy climb at the end. Keep up the great videos :)
Cheers Leigh 👍 :) tbh it was a bit dodgy as you couldn't really see a path so had to make your own path getting up the thing! But a lot of people do it in reverse and come down it, not sure which way would be the better way 😅
Hi Kyle and Haley, congratulations to you both for going to the Summit on the Isle of Arran. From the photo at the top it looks like Kyle had the same sunglasses on as he did in the photo from 8 years ago. Enjoyed this 3 part series and looking forward to your next adventure. The people that reside on that Island must have to have food brought in from the mainland. I would have been interesting if you could have talked to some of the Buddhist Monks or the nuns that live there.

Great video both. I love the sound of the Buddhist retreat! The painted rocks are beautiful. Well done for getting to the top. Looked absolutely stunning, and I'm the same, I can get to the top no problems (although I definitely wouldn't be able to do one vertical like this), but I struggle getting down with my dodgy joints.
