Hi Anastasia - this is a great recipe. I also love your coffee leather recipe that I have found online - it would be great to have a video for that one too :-) I have two questions: 1) How thick should you spread out the mixture in your frame? 2) When spraying the mixture with calcium chloride, I noticed (for your coffee leather recipe) that the mixture shrinks quite a bit and detaches from the frame. Then when drying, the sides break open, and the liquidy center pours out. Any advice on how to prevent that? Is calcium chloride needed? Thanks a lot!

Can you make this bioplastic without a dye ..or can you make a transparent bioplastic from alginate?

Hi Anastasia, isn't calcium chloride a toxic material? Don't you feel slight burning in your throat when you spray it/inhale it? I have tried the recepie and it looks great but calcium chloride is a worrying factor. I am really curious to know what you think/know about it. thanks a lot :))))
