Hello, Korea Now subscribers! I'm Sumi Yu from Korea Now, and I came back with another interesting story from Korea.
This time, I met the 2020 debuted senior boy group "Ahjussis!" The average age of 62-year-old group "Ahjussis" is gaining huge attention in Korea after making videos on Tiktok which mainly focuses on fashion-related content. A video of the group coming down from an escalator went viral by garnering over 9.8 million views, and made them open the second chapter in their life as influencers.
"Ahjussi" describes middle-aged men in Korean, and the group "Ahjussis" consists of 8 senior models as of today. So today, Korea Now met 6 members from "Ahjussis" and talked about how they joined the group.
They still say it's like dreaming every day. However, they said it wasn't their idea at first but one from a young entrepreneur's brilliant, stunning idea to make every middle-aged man in Korea find themselves.

Just stay healthy and a good weight and your 50s & 60s will be the most fun. Your children are grown, your career gave you a good savings, you can't be fooled by people that want to use you and there is so much to do in life that if you never married or your spouse passed away you are happier alone.
Your 20s are only prime for being able to drink excessive amounts of alcohol and to not wonder why you hurt in random places later.

So true. I'm almost 50 and I already hear people my age complaining about getting older. I wish more people my age had their mindset. We all age, and theres nothing we can do about it other than except it. Take care of yourself enjoy the time we have and aging doesnt have to be horrible. Heck, my 72 year old aunt just went skydiving.😄
