    Nice work, would be classy with flame anodised scales, perhaps a gradient of purple to blue.
    A better way of moving the cutting edge back would be to thin the blade down to a slightly convex zero grind. A lot more work but it would result in a much sharper blade that is maintained by stropping.
    Finish the blade surface by hand with wet and dry layed on a cork table mat, it will self adear with water.
    Just a few ideas to take it up a notch, love your builds, it's nice to have something different that very few others will carry.
    Best wishes mate,

      @@kaiwaterfield8073 Thanks a bunch! I though about electrically anodizing it to a blue color, but wasn't sure how the stone washed titanium would look.

      @kaiwaterfield8073 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I've done a few flame anodised titanium brushed finish scales and they come out nice, lasts well in the pocket too. Have a experiment on some scrap bits.
      If you are selling a few it will make each one unique too.
      I often end up thinning my own knives down to zero, so many knives arrive far too thick behind the edge nowadays, as well as completely blunt.
      Not SAK off corse they're always well ground.
      Just purchased the damask farmer X and that arrive beautifully ground and sharp.
      Keep at it mate, your little creations are ideal for the UK market were we are very limited as to what we can carry.

    you can make things much easier if you use a pencil die grinder with carbide burrs or also 3mm /1/8" shank tugsten drill bits...
    carbide burr can also be used to make serrations on edges or either to finely modify the spine in the pivoting lock to accomodate better springs... it works perfectly on hardened stainless steel due hardendess of carbide and high RPM 50000 to 80000 and further... all you need is an air compressor and a pencil die grinder and some pneumatic motor oil. it is a low tech high efficiency solution. it can also cut ball bearings cages and all very hard stuffs. Il can be used free hand like a pencil or it can be supported with a jig...

    Hey there, I watch your videos often on TH-cam and had a question. I plan on making my own g10 liners but was unsure how to overcome the issue of the original liners having indentations on the two outside liners (double knife layer and the opener layer). Can you advise me on how to overcome this? Would it not affect the snap of the tools to replace them with completely flat g10, or would I need to add washers or something to that effect? Thanks very much!

      @FittoSurvive  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@zacharyybarra7676 Hey! Glad to hear that you are enjoying my channel!
      So, if the blade on your SAK has the "Officier Suisse" tang stamp on it, then you will need a 0.4mm washer next to it when using G10.
      For the can and bottle openers, they will perform fine without a washer.
