I never did understand the meanness I've heard (and read online) toward Bill Walton. Even though I know we probably would not agree on certain points, I always liked him as a person very much. Sadly, I think the only significance some people can find in themselves is to hate on others -- often nice people. Completely ignore such, Bill, and know that a large number of us wish you nothing but God's blessing and happiness.
I love Bill. He gave my a thumbs up in a basketball competition when I was only 12. He's a very positive role model. He really inspires people. Godspeed to you Bill!!!
I have to admit, he's always super positive whenever I see him, and you can't stop him from talking. LOL

Bill won crowd MVP at the fare thee well dead shows. He contributes to the vibe wherever he goes and that's enough for me.
I love the time when at UCLA bill got arrested for protesting (Nixon and war).....coach wooden gave him advice that maybe public protesting would not be as effective as letter writing. So bill wrote letter. Soon after Nixon resigned coincidentally. Bill responds “again, coach was correct”

Always a colorful and often a controversial character, the book sounds wonderful and I've got to get it ... asap. Thanks Bill, Robin.
