As a caps fan that lives in Raleigh north Carolina I like how the storm surges got more people involved in the sport. 3 years ago I could go weeks talking about hockey and no one would care. Now hockey is a trending topic in NC. Bring the surge back next year
Yup. I dont care what kind of dumb stuff the teams want to do to get people to want to check the sport out. Everyone loves hockey after their first game. Plus theyre having fun. Who cares what theyre doing if it brings people in and its fun. My rules in life revolve more around enjoyment and fun than shoving a stick up my ass

Hot take: the sharks defense is not good. If you’re a DEFENSEman, your job is to play DEFENSE. If, as a DEFENSEman, your offensive numbers are so much better than your defensive numbers that you have giveaways like those on a regular basis and you have some of the highest shots against numbers in the league, you’re not good at your job, which by the way is DEFENSE. Nothing wrong with being an offensive DEFENSEman, but in my opinion you should maybe be primarily concerned with the thing that is in your job title.
