Remember that Ravage has 50% increased crit chance on targets above 80% health so if your partner has a lot of up-front damage you might want to use the Ravage early when opening to make use of the extra crit and not lose it
I dont remember not being able to shift roots in cata, that seems lame. I do remember bleeds being really really good though. Maybe the best dots in Cata?
hey buddy, can you gimme a mangel macro? i need a macro to start autoattack and cast mangle for both form cat and bear... i tried many macros, some of them work in the cat form, but when i change the form, they do not work in the bear form
I'm setting up my feral at the moment, is Savage Roar ever used for PVP? It doesn't seem super great compared to just using a ferocious Bite or spreading Rip to an off target.
Someone correct me if im wrong but I believe you should use the free Ravage while they are above 80% to get the increased crit chance which will equals 1 more combo point to spend meaning 1 less mangle/shred. Something like: Charge -> (Get free Ravage buff up, dont use yet)-> Pounce->(Free) Ravage->Mangle->Tiger's Fury->Rake and at this point if any of those crit (high change on ravage crit) you Rip and if nothing crit then you Shred->Rip. Hell if more than of of those crits then you can sub Rake for Rip THEN Rip after.
Thanks mate, currently I cannot decide whether to play rogue or feral for cata. Which one do you think it would be better for arena 2s,3s for a not master skill player? THx
Happy to help! I'm unsure which one would be easier, both can be fairly advanced classes. Both classes are quite good defensively in this xpac and play similarly in those situations. Feral damage is maybe a bit more stressful for a new/less experienced player to optimize. I'm probably bias though because rogue things are 2nd nature for me. Rogue is easier to fit into team compositions though. I believe both to be great options, pick the one you can enjoy even as a non master. 😉
Hey bro I appreciate the video ! I played enh in wotlk Classic and wanted a class change , hunter seems cool it was between hunter or feral , I played feral in wod loved it , hunter is ok in cata but w monkey change and their dmg outside chimera feels weird maybe
I don’t remember druids not being able to shift out of roots back in the day… I remember they introduced it for like 1-2 months and all druids were threatening to un sub so they changed it back…although I did main rogue so maybe I’m remembering it wrong 😂
I know that I switched from Feral to Hunter bc of that. I quit 3 months in nevertheless. Can't remember If the Shift root Change was from the get go or later. My memory was so Bad I thought insta cyclone was the big Change, Not shapeshifting roots :D
I believe they are both in the GCD so you can’t just hit one button to cast it. Maybe a cast sequence macro. Or just press bear bind and then bash bind.
Hello! Engi+Tailor will be the best although if you want to FC potentially Engi + JC for the resil gems. I have Engi/Enchanting on my druid and I don't plan to swap right away if at all. I like having an enchanter.
Hey thanks for the macro tips, just came back to Classic and was wanting a single button for bear/cat feral charge and the version i used from before was broke. If anyone needs this is what works for me: /cast [form 1] Feral Charge; /cast [form 3] Feral Charge(cat form);
Thank you for the macros. Do you have one that incorporates the feral charge ravage into your normal ravage/shred macro? #showtooltip /cast [stealth]Ravage;Shred I can't get mine to work with the stampede proc in it.
Happy to help! I actually just use shift+my shred keybind for Ravage. I am unsure if you can create a macro for this stampede proc, as it does not put us into a stance during the proc.
Huge opportunity for a cata feral content creator. Nice video!
Absoloutely crazy how fast time flys.
I remmeber your cata stuff, but it was deffo MoP when i reached 2500 from your guides.
Good days.
Feral rules just started in cata loving it. As a rogue main
wanted to reroll Feral in Cata classic. Awesome guide. Looking forward to more educational video in 1v1 and popular arena set-ups
Keep this coming, appreciate the content. Feral looks awesome
Thanks for the video! I’m torn between maining rogue and feral currently so I’m glad you’re putting out content for both.
Both solid choices…what’d you go with
Thank you for the video!:) It was helpful as I'm preparing my druid for cata atm
Quality information
im not sure if you covered it in this video but what is the necesarry spell pen to have to prevent your cyclones from being resisted
What kind of addon that shows the procs of a druid?)

I have feral and Mangle is gone from the talent tree am I the only 1 dealing with this issue??
was cata the expansion that feral bleeds were super OP? i remember there was one era where bleed cleave or rot comps were super strong with feral
I dont remember not being able to shift roots in cata, that seems lame. I do remember bleeds being really really good though. Maybe the best dots in Cata?
Feral is really nice for cata
Really Nice video. Could you do a rundown of all the marcos you use for arena ?
Thank you! This will be in the next couple videos I upload. Stay tuned!

Hey man just curious what is the damage addon your using for the font? Looks super clean
Hey! the font addon is "Nice Damage"
@@Evasionx thank you i appreciate it! Great guide as well!
Hi i am having problems with 2nd macro, the stampeding roar. i dont know much about macros is there anyone who knows how to write it?
Hey bro I appreciate the video ! I played enh in wotlk Classic and wanted a class change , hunter seems cool it was between hunter or feral , I played feral in wod loved it , hunter is ok in cata but w monkey change and their dmg outside chimera feels weird maybe
Thanks dude! Feral should be a solid pick for you then, especially with that previous experience. 👍
does anyone have a pvp pre bis or something?
nice vid, u said skullbash instead of savage roar which confused me^^
What are the BIS professions and do you have a BIS gear list for s9? :)
Engi+Tailoring will be the best Prof's for you. I don't currently have a BIS gear list for S9. Its going to likely be 95-100% pvp gear.
which of the 5 heals from the Restoration tree should i use?
I don’t remember druids not being able to shift out of roots back in the day… I remember they introduced it for like 1-2 months and all druids were threatening to un sub so they changed it back…although I did main rogue so maybe I’m remembering it wrong 😂
They added it back in a later expansion from my memory but I also could be remembering wrong.
I know that I switched from Feral to Hunter bc of that. I quit 3 months in nevertheless. Can't remember If the Shift root Change was from the get go or later.
My memory was so Bad I thought insta cyclone was the big Change, Not shapeshifting roots :D
how are you using ravage outside of prowl???
After using feral charge cat, you get a free use of ravage. Thanks to the Stampede talent.
Any macros for Bash? Not Skull Bash... Bash
need a macro that puts you in bear form and uses Bash instantly
or is that not possible to make?
I believe they are both in the GCD so you can’t just hit one button to cast it. Maybe a cast sequence macro. Or just press bear bind and then bash bind.
Hello mate.
What professions would you suggest for feral druids in Cata pvp?
I am thinking feral kitty for arenas and flag carrier in RBGs.

/cast [form 1] Feral Charge; /cast [form 3] Feral Charge(cat form);
What professions you thinkin?
Engineering + Tailoring, I personally have Engineering/Enchanting atm, enchanting is a tad scuffed but I enjoy having an enchanter on my account.
wondering what proffs are you goin for?
I currently have Engi/Enchanting on my druid but the best will be Engi + Tailoring.
Thank you for the macros.
Do you have one that incorporates the feral charge ravage into your normal ravage/shred macro?
#showtooltip
/cast [stealth]Ravage;Shred

Would love one that would cast the ravage anytime it was available and if not just auto shred.
I have feral and Mangle is gone from the talent tree am I the only 1 dealing with this issue??
