God bless you sir. Your music was the soundtrack to beating stage three colorectal cancer . I've been in remission for 2 and a half years now, you and so many others musicians and artists have help me heal, cry, laugh, remember good and bad times, and learn from my mistakes. God bless you Dallas, I hope you come back to Detroit, soon.
This is absolutely amazing and I cannot agree more.
That’s great brother. The power of music is amazing.
God bless you❤
Lyrics:
Ain't no mystery
About the way we feel
But you get so alone at times
And all you're trying to do is heal
What is this great misunderstanding?
Where do we go from here?
The future's in the sky above us
What if we let it just disappear?
On top of this mountain of madness
It's a long way down to hard ground
Please forgive me for asking
But there must be a better way around
The streets are on fire, the roses are dead and gone
On top of this mountain of madness
It's a long way down, so long
Ain't no victory
Worth payin' such a cost
That once the final bell has rung
You've earned less than what you've lost
So many different people
Different faces and different names
Underneath our blood runs red
And that's what makes us all the same (ooh)
On top of this mountain of madness
It's a long way down to hard ground
Please forgive me for asking
But there must be a better way around
The streets are on fire, roses are dead and gone
On top of this mountain of madness
It's a long way down, so long
So long
So long...
Thanks ❤
Bless this man. Incredible.
There ain't no victory worth paying such a cost
that once that final bell's rung
you've earned less than what you've lost
--Such powerful and true words
Easily, my favorite song this year!
Peak Dallas Green. The rawness of Sometimes with the fullness of The Hurry & The Harm.
That guitar adds so much to that angelic voice. That man can sing!
This is the perfect song for these recent times. Thank you.
EU TO SEM PALAVRAS PRA ELOGIAR. SÓ SEI SENTIR
bão demais~
Ahhh man. Dallas sing it ❤️
everything he touches becomes great!

Dallas you are brilliant! This song is beautiful. One of the greatest.
My favourite song my Dallas, really grabs you
That opening rift... so good!
Perfect voice and perfect performance
Biggest inspiration! The Voice of an Angel
I’ll literally just jam this, and take an hour round trip with my son just so he has to listen to music with a true meaning, and it’s own feeling. All of it brings its own energy, and a certain depth that only pertains when you let it. 😩🤘🏽
Sua Voz, uma Guitarra e Puro talento nas letras... Dallas Green é uma obra-prima!
this is perfect

Shout out to the chick who keeps coughing all song
Patient Zero in Canada.
That person was amazing. He ruined the music video.
@@stefaniverson2739 Funny but possibly true.
The coughing is actually part of the song. Dallas Green asked her to cough intermittently throughout the song in order to enhance the feel and meaning of the song.
@@stefaniverson2739 you beat me to it, you may be right
Ain’t no mystery about the way I feel about cityandcolour
🙋💎
I’ve been trying to get that tone for weeks… can’t do it. It’s either to dirty or too clean. WHAT is the SECRET?
Vim pelo nicolino kkkkkkkkkk
Quem é esse?
Struck a chord gone unplayed for some time. The type of chord that pulls trauma from under the surface to be transmuted into something new.
I’m seeing AM, f chord, bm, Anyone seen something different I missing a cord here
E in the chorus
Drop D on the guitar
verse: d, a
chorus: F, E7, a
outro: d, e, a
