66 Degrees F here is Southwest VA this afternoon at 4 PM. It's 4 hours later and the temp is down to 43 Degrees F and the wind has really picked up. Wood for the fire is in the dry, animals are fed! Bring on the snow!
Midcoast Maine here and idk man. I think it’s highly unlikely for a foot of snow on the ground on dec 4th or 5th. Things have been too warm, ground is nowhere near frozen enough.

We here in the northeast can use all the rain, snow, whatever that we can get; it's been so parched around here since the beginning of September; all the rain and/or snow we can get now would greatly be appreciated around here
I live in southwest Michigan right on the lakeshore. We’ve had a crazy warm fall and now the lake is way above average water temp. When the cold finally arrives, the snow will be robust
I visited Florida in December and it was 52 degrees when we arrived. It was 70 degrees warmer than where we had driven from. The locals were so cold. We wore shorts and tees and had a great time.

Thanks so much for your forecasts. It is comforting to know the potentialities and approximate timing for colder weather conditions. You do a great job of covering the total U.S.
This winter feels different than usual. I feel like as of late winter took a long time to get going but it seems to be ramping up very quickly. Weak la Ninas have been pretty nice to snow lovers on the east coast in the last decade lol

The Thanksgiving/Black friday snow storm looks like perfection for my area in NEPA. Couldnt ask for a better outlook. I know it'll change but I am really hoping it doesnt. My area for tomorrow is calling for 1-3inches in the Luzerne valley and In the Poconos and higher elevations more like 2-5inches maybe up to 8inches for the tippy top of mountains. Im so excited even though I'll probably only see an inch or two lol ❄️
I live 7 miles from Johnstown pa.. So I live on the rudge in Somerset county, PA . We were to get 40 mph gusts and 6 to.12 inches Now we are just supposed to.get 3 to 6 inches. I hate snow, but I LOVE SNOWSTORMS Call me crazy but they are awesome. I'm so sad now.
I remember a few years after that ice storm in 2009 we had a Nor Easter that dumped 2ft of snow a day after Halloween and all the trees with leaves still on them snapped because of the weight. Crazy storms out here in western Massachusetts, hopefully this winter is jammed pack with countless storms because the last 4 winters or so have been lame and lackluster.
We need any precipitation we can get, doesn't matter if it's rain or snow. I'm in Berks County, PA. It's been terribly dry, can't remember a fall drier than this one.
Cold here this morning in Apex, NC and it was windy overnight. Hopefully no snow for our area. I like seeing it but I do not want the road salt DOT puts out when they think it will snow.
It was November 24-25, 1950 that the Appalachians saw one of the worst nor'easters on record, with flooding rains east of the mountains and crippling snow to the west.
@@clonesteak 70’s - 80’s sure. But that was just an abnormally cold period. Even compared to before it. Think of it as the opposite of the late 2010’s early 2020’s.
