- kitchen tour! it's finally happening chickens! I know I've been putting this off for months but it was for good reason! In October I moved my home bakery into a new space. I cannot afford a commercial lease so I worked it out with my landlord to use this apartment to run my tiny bakery / microbakery whatever you want to call it. I've been here for 3 months now and i'm finally figuring out the space.

you have a gift for perfectly capturing the energy of a weird thing someone said, à la the dakota johnson limes. not even the first video ive noticed it lmao. i have this theory that everyone has a small set of quotes or soundbites that took up residence in your brain the moment you first heard them and you like repeat them to yourself for the rest of your life, i feel like youve shown us a couple of yours so thank you lol 💗
my kitchen colours are also pink and green 🥺 not as gorgeous and painted as yours, i just get the pink or green option when im buying some new little tool or plates or whatever but one day i WILL have the green tiled kitchen i want.. the broccoli oven mitt is on my wishlist if ikea figure out how to have more than two things that i want in stock any time soon.
EDIT OMG I JUST NOTICED YOUR LITTLE GREEN CAT ON THE INGREDIENTS SHELF. ok this is going to sound insane but do you have uh any information about the cat or its origin? my friend has been collecting them for over ten years now (when i say collecting i mean just buying any we come across in thrift stores) and weve never been able to work out if theyre manufactured or homemade bc some have details that look like they just had to have been handmade, but he also has found at least 7 or 8 of these dogs and cats, and one really large goose that he didnt buy so we're not sure if some person is just making these decoupage animal statues and leaving them in value villages all over southern ontario lmao. ive always wanted to know more about them, its one of the great mysteries of my life tbh. yours is such a lovely colour!

Tbh I have 1000s of sound bites, references, lyrics stored away. Maybe some milk echolalia but things just stick in my head.
Green kitchen tiles are also my dream. I’d love to paint the cabinets but I can’t be bothered to repaint them if my landlord doesn’t love them when I move out.
Edit reply: yes! I have collected a few as well. As far as I can tell it was a mass-produced figurine in the 1980s that you could paint, collage, découpage, whatever. My grandmother used to paint them. I love it because it you find them every few years and get to see different peoples styles. So cool. Thank you so much for watching and leaving long comments 💗
@@LaurenMcGowan I don’t think there’s anything more beautiful than green tiles in a kitchen or bathroom tbh.. my bedroom is also thematically very similar to your filming setup, it seems like we have a lot of decorating overlap lol 🍭🌈🐚
you have no idea just how wide you’ve blown the decoupage cat mystery with this comment omg. Even googling them now turns up many sale listings that look exactly like my friends cats, which was not true ten years ago when I initially tried learning more about them. But them being a mass-produced little kit that people then made themselves makes so much sense, wow… I still haven’t found any references to the kits themselves or how they were made so all that remains is to figure out how they can be made today so I can make my own little floral guys

I am a new celiac wanting to start a GF home bakery / sell the baked goods at farmers market. I live in Canada and know my provincial rules and regulations regarding the selling part, I am however wondering how you can be legitimately GF. If you are using certain types of flour like chickpea from a store but it doesn't state GF on the package.. can you still advertise the baking as gluten free? any information would be appreciated as I am new this

I would wait a year or two before baking for others on a large scale. It's a lot of information to parse and mistakes can hurt others. Theceliacdietician on Instagram has programs you can purchase on how to navigate gluten free foods. I really recommend it! Be gentle on yourself it's a big change!
