I hate how DLSS blurs the fire, firework, fire arrows at night time, the graphics with these settings are worse than PS5, even PS4 when they are blured. Strangely, the AA that you have set at high or ultra should have compensated this blurness, but it did not. Same thing happens on my setup as well (I have same GPU and CPU). I really prefer the PS5 graphics but sadly my PS5 died last week :(

Your better of high settings rather than ultra dlss set manually to quality whereas drs is probably setting performance mode or whatever tbf that’s what I’ve found though I’m in the process of upgrading as money allows so have a 7800x3d. Next up is I’ve nearly saved to replace my 2080ti then that’s my build wrapped up for a bit

@@christianbilling3540 What motherboard do you have? I would rather take a used 5800x3d, like I did. The 2080ti will also be good for ongoing years, just undervolt that GPU and you are set.

@@AlexdbreI have a gigabyte X670 AORUS board. 7800x3d. i sold my old 2700x and x470 board for almost the cost of my cpu so basically bought a motherboard. gonna be probably jumping right at the top end again when 50 series / 8000 series amd comes out which should be soon ish. unless i find a good deal on a 7900xtx 4080super or 4090 in the meantime

also no denying the 2080ti does still hold up well today BUT id like to be able to max my refresh rate 165hz @1440p on decent settings again preferably without upscaling as much as possible i should add my 2080ti isnt dead yet (memory controller) as it doesnt have the micron memory AND its been taken good care of. cleaned monthly and repasted each year and yes it is slightly undervolted

@@christianbilling3540 Micron? I don't know what my 2080Ti has tbh, (MSI Trio X) it has been used for years, undervolted even, with incredible performance. Paired with an 5800x3d, the GPU always runs at 99% with just 220w of Max Power, while delivering Performance almost equal to a 3070 Ti (!), my undervolt is more like a good OC on less Volts, Card also never reaches above 64°C.
For 165@1440p you will have to wait for the 6000 Series of Nvidia Cards, not even the 4090 can handle it and looking at the newest optimization of games you are better of buying a PS5 Pro (?) when it comes out, look at Helldivers 2 for example. Also I don't know if the 7800x3d can even produce 170fps plus on 1440p.

Sir, your gpu is at 80°C, I really don't that is normal for that card. Try to do undervolting via MSI Afterburners Curve editor and set the Clock Speed to 1935mhz, it should handle it. Also change the Power limit to 100% again. My 2080Ti runs legit better (1965mhz stable), cooler (MAX. 62°C) and uses less power consumption (Up to 210W). Overclocking is dead on these cards, but they really perform amazing on a 950/975 undervolt. For undervolting please look TH-cam tutorials and do it at your own risk, but it should be way healthier than 80°C with a 10% PL increase.
