@@Shreddawg Yes so they have plenty of time to make it big, and I think they will.

Hey, bro. Finally managed to obtain a copy of Nek!'s debut EP "Exclamation" via Cdjapan, which comes in at 5 tracks, 3 of which have now seen official release, with Reigen Girl being the 2nd of the 3 singles released with accompanying MV'S. Obviously, many people of late have inevitably been drawing comparisons between Nek! and their considerably older labelmates, Band-Maid, which, on the one hand, is no doubt flattering to a young up and coming band of Neki's collective ages, while, on the other hand, also drawing one's attention away from what's truly important, which is the still burgeoning talents of these young ladies. With Get Over, Reigen Girl, and Maze (which you've still yet to react to), that makes it 3 for 3 from Nek!.✌️❤️🤘🇦🇺

Yo thats awesome! I plan to pick it up next month when im in Japan. Its really cool being able to walk into a Tower Records... I remember those from the 90s lol.
I think they are super impressive and honestly, a near perfect band for me. I absolutely LOVE the vocals and the instrumentals overall are quite impressive!

Can't wait to get my CD! To me they sound kinda like B-M and TRiDENT which two groups I happen to like very much 😁

Evening Shred. Good to see you catching up. Are you going to any of the Lovebites shows in September? I’m Atlanta on the 6th. My previous suggestions notwithstanding, I just watched Youha for the first time yesterday. Add to your list.

Yo! Im hoping work slows down so I can get some more videos up!
I wont be going to that show because I purchased tickets to see MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS.
...Since I have my Japan show booked, I dont have enough vacation time to go to the LOVEBITES show >.>
For whatever reason, every LA show is on a Tuesday >.>
Youha? Never heard of them. Ill have to check them out!

Hey Shreddawg! It's great to see you again on here. I hope everything is awesome with you and of course your family too. I think this band has a bright future ahead of them. I get the impression that the bassist has listened to a lot of Gacharic Spin, while the rest of the band seems to draw some influences from Band Maid and Trident. They have been releasing a lot of new videos lately. If you get the chance, you might want to listen to KOIAI "New Picture" I think it will surprise you. The Maids have been busy lately too. Nemophila also released a new video this morning, "G. O. D." their first new single since Saki left. Please take care and have an amazing week.

Yeah! Its great to get something posted. The last 2 weeks I was working 10-12 hour days so I had no chance of posting a video >.>
The family is doing well! I hope everything is good with you and your family as well!
I do think the sky is the limit for this band as long as they can all stick together. I can see the Gacha Spin reference as well. That actually makes quite a bit of sense considering Kanande's pretty much constant slapping.
Yes! I have a lot to catch up on. I have not checked out the Koai one yet, was that the live one they posted?

there is a high possibility that their best textbook is band maid.
they uses the word " respect"for band maid.
however, even if there is a good textbook ,.it is their to absorb it and create different music.
IMO,if you listen to the 5songs of first EP , you can feel the influence of high_ quality J pop.
well,.i think I'll incorporate J hip&hop technique for the lyrics.
まぁmaybe I'm talking completely out of place 😅

Yes, I think a lot of bands look up to or study other bands. Even if you are able to understand what a band does, that does not mean you will be able to achieve what they do.
This band appears to be doing quite well with their music and it will be exciting to see what they can create in the future.
I think its great to have other influences such as jpop etc as it can help you create catchy songs that many people can enjoy.

I like the song, it’s complex. Nothing like I expected and yes it takes more than one listen. Kinda stops you in your tracks before you can just enjoy it, but in a good way. 👏

I think its really great! Always nice when songs have a great amount of replay-ability!
