I'm not contesting your point, but you might enjoy Wyrgher for recent cosmic black metal, and White Ward if you want jazz infused Black metal. I don't know if you can count imperial triumphant as black metal, but they're certainly different and interesting though! Just some recommendations if you're getting kinda bored of the same old stuff. Also highly recommend Acausal Intrusion on the death metal end, very unique sounds out of that duo.

My copy of Beyond The Palest Star came in today and Im so glad to have discovered this band, it is one of the most sonically interesting bands I have heard in a while and is a refreshing breath of fresh air.
This album is so fucking good🤘 there other albums are good too but this is so far their magnum opus just a really good find this band turned out to be 🔥
