My brother, Ghana created every genre, from Afrobeats, Rap, dancehall, raggae, and Amapiano, very soon a country will bring out a new genre, Ghana will come and claim they created it.
One thing Sheldon fails to understand is that u cannot wish for people what they don’t wish for themselves.. their dreams might just be to make music and take care of themselves and family they might not really want to fill arena and all of that

I fully support Kwadwo Sheldon on this one. In Ghana we have some of the finest musicians and some of the best sound engineers like e.g Nektunez but we do not hear much about them. I think we should work on the marketing and the advertising side more to promote the Ghana Music Industry🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭❤❤❤❤

Some I wonder why I hear Nigerian don't support Ghanaian music its funny in Nigeria we listen all good music across all African countries. Many Ghanaian hit music was a hit in Nigeria anyone doubting should come and verify
We are the same people. Remove the languages and names you won’t differentiate. How do you know Chinese ? They look the same cos they are related with one ancestor. The same goes for Nigeria and Ghana. Africans must choose one africna. Language that we all can speak without having to communicate with language of mzungus. We must have an African identity expressed in one unifying African language.
Good interview but the sitting arrangements in relation to the camera is not good at all. It affects the viewers point of view. If you put another camera facing him directly, and switch time to time, it would have been better.

As a Nigerian I have to admit that Ghana plays an equal if not a more major role in the development of Afro beats. However, you cannot discount the huge population of Nigeria all over the world. I think Ghanaian artists have to collaborate more with their Nigerian counterparts. Jealousy and fighting won't solve anything.
The population argument can be flawed tho. There are countries like Jamaica with little population in comparison to larger nations and they have heavily influenced global music for decades now. What are your thoughts on that?
@@YemiOladapo I think the Jamaicans came into their own before the advent of the internet. Nowadays, it will be difficult for any Jamaican artist to fill any arena in the West. The Internet and Social media has changed everything, only Nigeria can muster the kind of following to fill out arenas.
The key is to follow those who know road ; jealousy and complaining will not get you anywhere. First, Ghana must understand that Nigerians are not their competition. Nigeria is bigger and more advanced in entertainment. The Grammy Awards are not going to change their criteria for us, so stay focused and keep progressing, not complaining.
