Great interview Donn. My son and I attended MXON 2007 at Budd's Creek. RV, RC and Tim were amazing to watch that day. I hope to attend the 2025 at Ironman.
We stayed there in the campground '07. Great time, met people from all over, and RV's ride was unbelievable. Got to to go to Gaildorf in'85 (US Army), and of course Unadilla '87 (home track). I've seen my last MXON in person, but glad to have gone when it mattered to teams and riders
Long season? I today watch an interview of Tomac of his participation in the World SX series starting next weekend in Vancouver Canada. It is not to long for Eli.
I had a good friend that shattered a wrist into eight pieces. He lost the range of motion to twist the throttle properly and while he was better than most still it kept him from the national career he was destined for. He later took up downhill mountain biking and wound up with a world championship in the 40 plus age group.
A friend and I saw Tim ride way back before he became known in this sport. We saw him riding at a track that had debris everywhere that could have gotten you really hurt I refused to ride there it was in mid Florida. anyway he was on 125 smoker and really flying but could not make it across the table top completely so he barrow some ones 250 stroker and make the full table top me and my buddy new at this time he would become a known name and turn pro we both met Tim he was a young man. we both rode for years for fun.
I was always always rooting for Tim make that next step on the podium. He got so many seconds. It will be great to see that shootout. Can you use the Honda WE since it’s offered stock? Would be odd to leave it out with so many different colored KTMs, just saying. Thanks love the content👍🇺🇸
It may seem long to you but 30 minutes goes way too fast when someone as talented as you are asking questions from great players in the sport of motocross! Thanks for all you do Donn❤🙏
I like how everybody is now blaming Decoster for Deegan not showing up for his country lol. Blokes been busting his ass for USA for years and now yas all just shit on him.
We like an American running the show Americans like RC or RV or JS. And Roger is getting too old. We aren't shiting on him. We want an American running an American team. What other countries have someone from another country running their mxon team. How would you like an American running Jett and Hunters mxon team?? And Deegs had to have surgery done on his wrist ASAP as soon as the season was over because one of the screws he had put in was causing damage to his ligaments and he couldn't let any more damage occurre to them.
Tim Ferry is one of the great ones. He raced in the prime era of motocross with the best racers. The sacrifices these MX racers make to race at the highest level is unbelievable. By far the toughest (mentally, physically, and emotionally) guys on the planet. When he said, "I got a whole 'nother life to live!", I felt that. Thanks for the rides!
I've been saying that for years now, Roger needs to go!! America nedds an American running the show. We need RC or RV or JS running the show Roger needs to retire. It's to the point Roger is too old and can hardly put a sentence together. Roger was a great rider in the 60s and 70s and had his time in the sport. I've never cared for Roger he's destroyed riders carriers by bringing them into the pro ranks to young and one and one them if they didn't perform the way he wanted them to.
Best interview yet! Red Dog is a legend.

Tim's good people, nice to hear from him.
Watched him race at Redbud way back in the 90's when he was still on the Honda, pretty cool.
