We have a pretty similar body type, I’m usually a 0 or 2 regular, and I bought a black and blue pair in a zero and decided to exchanged my light wash ripped ones for a 2 because their a tighter fit (you said) and they fit perfectly! Actually love this video it’s so helpful!

I’ve ordered some mom jeans off of ae before and every time they aren’t high wasted for me. It always sits lower because the waist is always baggy on me :(
seeanuh I’m sorry. Maybe you have a longer torso so it sits lower. My sister has a similar problem where the waist is always baggy. It’s often hit and miss with me on high waisted pants.
As a woman who actually wore “Mom Jeans” before they were “cool”, I say RUN, don’t walk away from them, or if you must, head to the local Salvation Army or Goodwill and get yourself some vintage Mom Jeans.
I like the fit of jeans they call “Mom Jeans”. So that’s why I buy them. And from experience “Mom Jeans” are hard to find at the thrift store at least in my state. I’ve searched often.
I kinda relate on the fact that im so worried that the ripped might go under my knees because my legs are to small 😂 so I always ask if they have size 10 short😂
i’m also 5’2 and i’m contemplating if i should get the short or the regular, which one do you think i should get? is there that much of a difference between the 2 or is it about the same?

That’s a good question. It’s hard to say since I’ve never bought skinny jeans at America Eagle before and different brands can label sizes differently but i would say yes! The mom jeans size is about the size i would buy for any other pair of jean.

h i if you have shorter legs then the upper half of your body get size short. If you they are average or equally proportional then get size regular.

Did you choose the same size as you did for your tight normal jeans or did you do a smaller waste size for the mom jeans?
