As a dog mom of two golden retrievers some puppy tips are: socialize the puppy as much as possible! With loud noise, other dogs. (After vaccinations of course), with vacuums, etc. I also recommend good car habits! Keeping puppy in the backseat is so important. Stay strong with crate training! It’s tough but so worth it!!!🤎

As someone who is anemic, one of the best foods to eat is quail eggs (they're high in iron), they're also good for dogs. I usually find them at Asian markets, but I think Whole Foods carry them as well 😊
Hi! As someone who has always owned dogs and has a lot of experience with the smallest of puppies, I definitely recommend crate training. My puppies have been sleeping through the night (11-7) in their crate since I got them and do not have to go out in middle of the night. Gradually increase the time in between bathroom breaks because taking them out in the middle of the night or too often never allows their bladder to be trained. Best of luck with Teddy! Noticed your crate training your new puppy and happened to watch McCann dog training on the biggest mistake that a new puppy owners make and found it so very good ~ I would advise any new puppy owner to watch!!!
make sure when you are using the clicker you mark with one word, like "yes" instead of good boy. And when you are saying a command to only say it once. as soon as you say it more than once, they think they dont have to do it the first time you say it! Teddy is the cutest, and we dealt with a parasite when my puppy came home. As soon as the meds started working our pups appetite came back. You guys are great puppy parents!
Absolutely obsessed w Teddy! We got our golden, Camper, last spring and discovered he had a chicken allergy. Apparently it’s common with Goldens, Camp eats lamb and rice so if you ever find that with T, then you’ll know to switch to lamb:)
I would say having a puppy is a lot like having a baby! It’s a good trial run at least before you go into full blown parenthood😂 biggest difference with having a baby though is lack of sleep PLUS they probably won’t want to be put down. So while a puppy can run around and play on the ground, you will most likely be on the couch holding your newborn!
