I don’t stan NCT, but Doyoung once said on Weekly Idol 6 years ago that NCT won’t lose members because of their limitless number of members and that they promised themselves. So I think Doyoung felt betrayed by Taeil, that’s the reason why he broke down or maybe SM forced him and the other NCT members to unfollow Taeil.
I feel the SM forced the members to unfollow him and to cut off contact with him. I'm sure it's difficult for all of them because they think of him as family.
The best thing about korea though is that image is very important. Taeil will basically be shamed by the entire country, and struggle to get jobs and things like that. Even if the sentence is low he won’t live a normal life again
