I don't know what to call it, but usually in the ASMR that I've heard they use something to simulate caresses, maybe it would be similar to hair brushing or the ear cleaning? Some of the asmr I try to listen to when I sleep has too much going on so I find it can keep me awake. This is the perfect level of minimalism to it, I was out like a light the other night.
