Man I run 16x8 0 offset on 35s. I put 2 inch spacers on and was rubbing like a sob. And I was told I needed like a 5 inch lift to clear from hitting the fenders. All I needed was 3 inch spacer lift and adjustable arms wtf lol
This set up would clear ur wheels no prob. It cleared 35’s on factory wheels before I did the trac bar or control arms and it was still on a 2 inch spacer. So now with all 3 & it’s taller would be just fine 👌🏻
@@superdwarf When I first put my 35s on I had terrible death wobble around 55mph. So went got the alignment sorted and wheels balanced again. Got the steering brace as well. All was good. I wanted a more stanced setup not super crazy, but also really like my wheel setup. Just wanted more stance. Got two inch spacers and adjustable control arms. And just ended up returning them because I work out of my truck detailing and couldn't turn anywhere lol. Also I do have a 2 inch leveling kit. Still rubbed super bad. I'd really love to make it work because it just looked so much better with the spacers lol
@@superdwarf Fyi the part I was tryna get into before I started rambling. When I got my alignment they maxed my caster all the towards the cab so it wouldn't death wobble anymore. So that's where I'm kinda stumped if I do try it again I would like to be able to go lock to lock without hitting my fenders
@@VvGUNNERvV if you’ve done the steering gear box, tie Rod/drag links, trac bar the only thing left is the control arms to cause death wobble. I did everything at once so I’ve never had death wobble to really get any experience fixing it.
Greetings! I haven't seen your truck running around, but I am 2 hours east of you. I am about to do this very job on my '97 2500. I see you have T steering - did you install that, or did your truck come like that? If you did it, what setup did you decide to go with? Do you have an adjustable trackbar? I couldn't tell from the video. Wondering if I'm gonna need one after lifting the front 3". Thanks!
It came with t style steering but I also upgraded to moog steering and that has since been replaced with crossover steering. I also now have a Thiren adjustable trac bar. It’s not as bolt on on it 97 as it is my truck but it can be done and is totally worth it

I been thinking about starting a channel, I got 2 trucks the 07 cummins and a 2014 powerstroke. I'm always doing something to em idk maybe someone would be interested 🤔.

It rides way better than you’d expect. I think it may have a soft ride coil in it already. Eventually it will get carli springs but I what more then just the springs so im holding out till I can do it all the way right. In the mean time the truck already came with one spacer that worked fine. It’ll be fine with the 1 more inch for a while longer I think.

no rear is still factory height. I do have a set of carli rear leaf springs to go on it tho. they are good for 2 inches of lift
