Dandi Kot is a small beautiful village of District Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. It is located about 35 km from District capital Dagger on Swabi road. Dandi Kot is 40 km away from Rustam and 17 km from Ambela. It’s located on the top of the hill and a picnic spot for local tourists. Dandi Kot is 5km away from Mean police station at Durmai Kandao on the west side. It’s a beautiful and old village of the Buner. Some people still live in mud houses. There are Primary and Middle school at the village. A Madrassa is also located outside the village for religious education. A big Jamia Masjid and Hujra is located at the village side by side. People of the village are very polite and hospitable. The village is surrounded by lush green fields. The village has a few small shops where daily necessities are available. The village has a population of around 1000 people mostly belong to Yousafzai tribe. Dandi Kot is known for its beautiful sceneries and offering great picnic opportunities. The people are mostly farmers, growing crops like wheat and maize. Most of the people also raise livestock.
