This is extremely ADHD behavior, speaking from experience. “When I feel like it” comes and goes and it’s hard to create that motivation if it isn’t there, but once it IS, it can stay around for longer than you expect.
Yeah, its sort of a blessing AND a curse. Once you get the ball rolling, it's hard to put it down. Kinda explains his erratic streaming schedule where he randomly just delays/starts streaming regardless of schedule.

Saying taking a break kinda sets up an expectation when be comes back while retiring directly sets an expectation that streams are going to slow down which lowers expectations (which I personally believe what he's going for) That's what I'm taking from his own anology
