Ledecky swims the 400im too, she had the 400 im yards US record, and with people like Beisel, Margalis and Dirado, having the 400 yards US record is such a big deal. If by 'Phipps' you are refering to Phelps, you are such an ignorant. Only because a swimmer that never got a 100 freestyle gold can't be called the best, are you saying that Chalmers, Magnussen, Hayden, Magnini are better than Phelps? Fun fact, Phelps best time in the 100 free is faster than all those names, except for Magnussen. Phelps was just 0.01 outside the 100 free world record in 2008. He didn't swam it because he had his mind in other events. Being 49 in 100 fly is as great as being 46 in 100 free. So, shut up, you don't know anything about swimming
