I have the Samsung Galaxy S23 here and in today's video I'll be showing you how to get some of Samsung's KNOX dependent apps working again after you have rooted your device.

This method is said to work on all Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 13 with One UI 5.x, Android 12 with OneUI 4.x, Android 11 with One UI 3.x, Android 10 with OneUI 2.x, and even Android 9 with One UI 1.x.
One of the downsides of unlocking the bootloader and rooting your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet is that you end up tripping KNOX. Knox is the company's security platform and some of their first-party apps require this to be left intact. Once KNOX has been tripped, you end up losing the ability to use apps like Samsung Health, Samsung Flow, Samsung Pass, Secure Folder, Secure WiFi and more.
So today I want to show you an LSPosed module that will allow you to use some of these apps again. With KnoxPatch setup and running, we can use things like Samsung Health, Secure Folder, Secure WiFi, and Samsung Flow again. If you choose to install the Enhancer mod alongside KnoxPatch, then you also get access to Smart View and the Galaxy Wearable app, aka the Gear Manager.
It's possible that over time, this mod receives an update that brings back access to Samsung Pass and Samsung Wallet. But right now this just isn't possible.
With LSPosed installed, you will also need to sideload the KnoxPatch APK file to your device.
Once it has been installed, let's open up the LSPosed Manager application and then tap on the Modules tab down here.
You should see KnoxPatch in this list. Let's go ahead and enable it by
With that done, we now need to reboot the Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet so the module can be activated properly
Once again, let's double check the LSPosed Manager app to make sure the module is up and running as well.
Now we can test out some of these apps that were not able to work before. Samsung Health is something I see requested a lot in the comments here on the channel, and with the KnoxPatch module set up, we can now use this service as if our phone was not rooted.
Samsung Flow is another app that gets restricted when KNOX has been tripped, but we can see this app opens and runs as well.
Finally, let's take a look at Secure Folder, which can be found within the Settings application.
You saw that it was not letting me open this up before, but with this mod installed we can now access it very easily.
Before I end this video, I also want to show you how to install the KnoxPatch enhancer module.
Since this is actually a module for Magisk, and not an LSPosed Module, we tap the Install from Storage option here and then flash it like we would any other Magisk Module. With it installed, we then need to reboot the Samsung Galaxy S23 so that it can be activated properly.
When we boot back up, let's check the Magisk application make sure the module has been loaded properly.
And we can also check the LSPosed module to make sure it now says Enhanced
With the Enhanced module installed, we can now use Smart View and the Galaxy Wearable apps as if KNOX was not tripped on our device.

Any way for A14/OUI6? I installed knoxpatcher and enhancer and installed securefolder apk but i cant find it in settings

This Patch is not working on Android 11 or UI 3.X You need to update to Android 12 or Update UI 4 or latest for this method to work.

still secure folder not workong, when i go to knox patch to see that enhance thing, am getting a message saying " this app has detected that your device data partition is encrypted, this means secure folder might not work properly" i have A50, Android 11, one UI 3.1

I rooted my phone and installed a custom rom but later I again flashed stock rom and I am currently getting official updates and everything official. But the problem only occurs in knox related apps. So is there any solution that I can do in the Stock Rom of One UI 5.1 A13 for the knox?

@@krishnathefutureiitian get latest official firmware for your device and run it through Odin flasher (look up the specific steps though)
I am sorry but the Knox module has a fuse that breaks if you put any custom roms on it. The only solution is to root your phone again and run the KnoxPatch module.

My new Samsung Galaxy 23 seems to be Knox tripped. Secure folder etc. isn't loading/working. Not sure how this happend as it's a new phone and Samsung isn't able to help me remotely as they want me to visit a Samsung repair center which I don't have any time for. I did some research on Google and found out your video's about making these Knox related apps work properly again. Now is my question to you: Will this method still work for the newest operating system Android 14 One UI 6.0? And do I still receive automatic firmware updates from Samsung when my Knox says 0x1??? Hi I installed LSPosed fine but all versions of Knoxpatch say app not compatible with my device. I have galaxy S10e fully rooted running Derpfest ROM android 13. running magiskdelta v26.1. I also tried to install the the magisk module Knoxpatch enhancer which failed to install saying its only for UIOne versions. any ideas? Is there anewer knoxpatch apk that compatible with s10e phone? it sounds like it may not be compatible with your version of one UI. have you tried contacting the developer to learn the supported devices?

I haven't recommended TWRP in years due to the development bugs (and delays) with the recent versions of Android. I used to love having a custom recovery on my device for backups/restoring, but lately I just back up individual app data with apps like neo backup and swift backup

if knox was never tripped, you definitely want to contact samsung support about that.

I use a program called 7zip to extract RAR files, but you could also use WinRAR if you wanted to

@@saadw50 are you sure you downloaded the right file? APK files may also look like a ZIP file (have you checked the file extension? (right click the file, click properties, then look at the file name)

Samsung Pass doesn't work and will never work on rooted devices
i specifically say it doesn't currently work with this module in the video. but a future update may find a workaround
@@ExplainingAndroid we hope so. Still desperately looking for it everywhere to no avail until now. Recent finding suggests that Samsung pass even able to bypass the magisk tricks.
