Mario Party series will always hold a special place in my heart . Way too many memories to count with siblings and cousins . I wish I could go back to those times tbh 😩😩
I don’t want to be that guy, but the truth is that the current team that make Mario Party games today are mostly comprised of the same people that made Mario Party back then. People have compared the credits of most of the older games and credits in most of the newer games and have confirmed this. Also it has been put out in many news sources and in an iwata asks that the team that made Mario party wanted to leave the Hudson part of the Mario party coalition and basically work solely for Nintendo. ND cube was an empty studio with no one in it so Nintendo just gave them that. Now I don’t know why the quality has changed afterwords at that point it’s just speculation, it’s possible that they were sick and tired of doing the older style and try to do something different. Or maybe considering that Mario party 8 didn’t review very well (I remember Nintendo power headlined the game review with is 8 enough) and people had Mario party fatigue then that they thought that they should do something different. In my opinion they shouldn’t have made eight games in a span of 10 years if they spaced it out in a better like they do now it would be a much different story.

MP10 has an actual title theme, and it's really good. Although since the title screen for that game is also the loading screen, it plays the loading jingle instead of the actual title theme. You can still hear the actual title theme at the end of Minigame Tournament or Coin Challenge. Believe me, it's really good.
I think for Mario Party 10 you could have also at least done the main menu before you selected your game mode. Yes it’s the same music but hey, it’s better than nothing…even that 15 sec clip

Also, I know that MP10's title screen is also the loading screen, but could you at least have used the game's actual title theme instead of the loading jingle? The title theme for MP10 is so good, it's a shame it doesn't even play on the title screen.

From 5 onward it started to get more chaotic and pumped up (AKA better). My favourite title themes though are 9 and IT
