Ape Escape Any% Speedrun in

Finally got the sub 45 :P
This run was really quite good all throughout. It was the fastest beginning I have had through Cryptic (9:50 I think). The mid game kept the pace going keeping me within ten seconds of my best Through Wabi Sabi. Then I saved a ton on Crumbling and got within seconds of the best run I have had. The endgame was overall pretty good, but not the best I have had. City Park was shaky so I lost around 10 seconds there. Specter's Factory was good with a meh mech fight. TV Tower was average with a really good first half (2:09) and a below average boss fight (5:06 total). Monkey Madness was not the best with a whiffed triple in the haunted house and some pretty bad ufo's. Luckily I had two explosives for the first phase of Specter and then I got a 6 cycle which was enough to give me a gold split and a 44:48 for the final time.
Sub 44:40 is still my final goal for this category, but I am pretty happy with this time.

This is one of the few games I actually finished as a kid. Having no memory card back then I left my ol boi PlayStation running for 3 days straight. One of the best feelings I can remember as a kid.
