So I’ve been trying to learn to coupon, watching videos etc. tonight I think I found penny items but they wouldn’t give them to me. Scanning on my phone the items came up as 0.00, but at register came up as 2.75 each, I showed my phone to the employee working register and manager and they wouldn’t override. This seems to be an issue for me, every time I go to the store I buy exactly what is on my list to a tee, nothing more.. yet the total is always different from my app total, it’s always much more at register. Can anyone tell me why this is? I don’t understand why… if this is because I’m in an updated store and they just updated their register. I have a picture of my list also showing the 0.00 items. I’m just frustrated. I feel like dollar general is ripping me off.
