I just loved this talk so much! I'm proud to say that thanks to the slow pacing of words, animated storytelling, and the occasional English translations thrown in, I was able to follow most of it! (also, I have to say that I have watched MANY of Devdutt's talks on utube, and so I am by now very familiar with his key ideas, and much of the core vocabulary he uses). right now I'm particularly interested in learning about Lakshmi Mata, and I am really enjoying hearing more stories about her, and discovering all that she represents. Many thanks for posting this video!

He is stretching and stretching, too long video, can be summarized to 10 mins, overall it is very good, patience is a virtue
It is simple, think what Jeff bezos is doing, he says be focused on customer service, serve the customer. That is why he is the worlds richest man, he is a master in execution, everybody says serve the customer. As sir says here customers are hungry for low price, high quality, no shipping cost and 1 day delivery, this is too much of a demand or too much of a hunger to satisfy for small companies, but Amazon is doing it, that is why their turn over is 1 trillion or it will reach that level.
The real question to answer is not hunger everybody knows supply demand, the real problem is even if I want to serve millions of people and create millions of jobs, every entrepreneur wants to do that, he or wants to satisfy the hunger of the people, why because it makes him happy and wants to see the customers happy, but the question is how? This video will not give the answer. It means you will not know how to become rich by seeing this video. The answer is we have to find out for ourself how to serve humanity, when we are not smart, when we don’t have timing, when we don’t want to take risks, when we don’t want to come of comfort zone, when we don’t investment, when are saving to buy a house and play safe. The reality is you cannot become rich if we don’t have knowledge and take risks to serve what the customer wants at the best price and good quality. How to do that when we don’t have investment, I think the answer Is to find an investor, but nobody will trust unless you have proved as a winning horse, make a video and answer this question, how to find an investor when you have not proved anything to the world, this means luck is important, this means you need to have convincing power and execution and discipline and honesty and integrity and good looks, above all you should try it out, take a chance and then may be, may be you will become rich. Also define rich. I have met millionaires the also act poor, they are hungry for the second million, only grace of god will help for this you have to give offerings, over all this lecture makes you think.
    Thank you

Wow...I have never been disappointed listening to Devdutt ji. Hes such a gem! And I discovered this principle what he is talking about...I had same conclusion in my own deep reflection. I started losing all interest in any activity and had no yearning for anything. And yet I felt so much potential inside me that asked to be utilized and I questioned why and how to utilize ? What is the highest way to utilize your strength? And then I realized the ultimate desire or bhookh is for helping all other beings. When you are free from raag and dwesha...your journey of Vaanprasth ashram i.e. contributing for welfare of society begins. It can start at age 20 or 65 doesnt matter...the moment you are free from personal gains...all that is left is a burning desire to support others. The motivation arises on its own...and I am passionately working on a business despite obstacles so that it can become a seed, a legacy. Lakshmi likes to stay with those who know how to share...because Lakshmi is not selfish...to serve one or few....she herself wants to reach out to everyone so that all can find fulfillment and ascend to Moksha taking others along the way. This is the cycle....

Contradicts with buddha? And his idea on destruction of desires? Desires causes dukhha. Therefore we cannot run away from dukkha.

Everyone has hunger for happiness, whether they are rich or poor. The poor have immediate hunger for food and shelter, but ultimately all after happiness.. those who already have , a luxurious life still hungry for happiness. Therefore, in the past westerners used to come to India for spiritual guidance. Unfortunately , spirituality has been destroyed by the so called progressives in India. If India had any sense, they would capitalise on the rich spiritual culture of Hinduism and mythology. They would not to have work so hard to get foreigners to invest in India.
