我在吉林经历了2次可能要被集中隔离的情况，非常可以理解这种uncertainty的恐怖。在自己家里但是却不知道下一步要被带到哪里（我姨被要求穿着防护服坐一整晚的大巴在长白山隔离），微信群里的团购不知道要不要报名，打包好了生活用品在行李箱不敢取出来用，打电话给社区和疾控同样的问题又得到不同的答案，在精神上真的非常折磨人。

The tester is stating a fact. Not appropriate to allow negative kids go to the quarantine facility
@@isabelwang537 What fact? This is not fact, just stupid policy. so the kid has to take the test a thousand times until he’s proven positive?
@@55jasonwill fact: people tested negative is not entitled to go to the quarantine facility.
Fact two: on 19 April 2022 a two year old boy died of covid in Taiwan due to lack of medical service.
So if Xiao mai is tested negative, then he should not to to the quarantine facility with his parents.
Hence the tester is just stating facts and Mike need not to be so negative

If a 3 yr old is negative, then the whole family shouldn’t go to quarantine. And why it is an entitlement to go to the quarantine facility? No one wants to be there
@@55jasonwillif a 3 year old is negative, he should not go to quarantine, but be taken care of out of the quarantine, while his parents receive treatments in quarantine. Chinese way works to keep death number of covid low. Mike choose to live in China, he is obligated to obey the Chinese rules on covid. Fact: wrong to admit covid negative people to quarantine, hence the tester is not to blame for speaking a fact.
Oh my gosh. This is probably the best Shanghai Covid quarantine documentary ever! Thank you so much for sharing your experience (most people don’t have the privilege to share it - you know what I mean…). It is truly frustrating when things go like this way. Hope you and your family the very best!

我在荷蘭的疫調單位通知，有些已經完全復原，對他人無感染力、抗原快篩陰性的人，PCR測試還是會是顯示陽性（因為身體裡還是有病毒細胞碎片）長達數週（甚至八週）。這些人是不會傳染了，完全可以回歸社會。其他人完全可以不需要這麼害怕甚至排擠。總之祝福你們早日回家！
上海这波疫情死亡五百多位市民了。三岁以下小童和部分严重健康问题的成人不能打疫苗，所以还是需要动态清零，保护这些没有疫苗保护的人群。

neighbors and anti covid staff are all doing their best. Mike need to be more understanding, so that he would not had rudely scolded the soft speaking tester who was merely stating a fact the negative result kids wouldn't be admitted to quarantine facility, and his scolding of the staff scared xiaomai to tears. Mike is so negative about the effective Chinese anti covid measures, he really should not be keeping staying there, complaining about it while reaping its benefits

根據我確診經驗，第七天差不多就轉陰了，能待在家都是好事，其實病毒沒那麼恐怖，但每個人對病毒反應不一樣，就算只有萬分之一死亡率，恐怕對上海都是很大衝擊，我們在台灣能居家照護，但前面不知道會發生什麼事，電話打不通的情況下，確實也很惶恐，看完你的影片我覺得，有人理沒人理都會惶恐害怕，不過真的經歷完，就覺得還好，祝你早日康復。
病毒恐怖不恐怖？每個人經歷都不一樣，有人輕微，也有人經搶救才沒死，更有人從此歸麈土，不過更恐怖的是，歐美的病例多，已經證明有百分之三十的人，不論輕重症，有各種不同的後遺症，統稱Long Covid長新冠。🤭

我96岁住在瑞金路石库门的外公连同同住的小阿姨夫妇都阳了，小阿姨因为没超过70岁被送进了容纳4万人的四叶草方舱，她在里面的7天基本没睡好过。花博方舱设施不错的。
超过70岁不用送方舱？
@@gangcai2876 是不去四叶草方舱，有些方舱是公寓改的，两人一间，独立卫生间，这种方舱主要给老人用。

I live in Canada and I have 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. My two roommates, A and B, A lives in my basement B lives in the other main floor room with her own bathroom. And they all got 3 doses of vaccines. B was sick and tested positive recently, she stayed in her room for 5 days, during that, she came out with mask on using the kitchen which we share. Then she disinfected the kitchen. Before I used the kitchen, I disinfected all the surfaces she might touch.also. After 5 days, her boss told her she could go to work. And she did not wear mask at home any more after 5 days. Now A and I are still healthy. I have to go to work and tested negative every day.
Why do you have to get tested eveyday in spite of being boostered?

Oh Mike, that was horrible to watch. I hope your little man is ok. I have a family member in Shanghai. She doesnt like to worry us. I know something is going on because she keeps dodging my calls. I think she worries I will say the wrong thing on the phone or make her anxious by saying my feelings and fears although I try hard to keep our conversation light. I cried when Xiaomai was crying because I'm in Shanghai now and has noticed so many tragedies recently. I don't know why all these happened and how long it will continue. Wish your family all the best and come back to home soon!
If people are more cooperative towards the anti covid policies, surely less elderlies would have avoided death in Shanghai. What a pity that some people just keep being critical, defensive and resistant towards the anti covid policies. Wish him and his family get better and move back the US soon. My son also got covid recently. Having fever for 2 days, he is fine now. Hope everything is okay in China, and resume to the normal life.

I watched the footage again, for the part that the health officers trying to take samples from Xiang Mike, the word ‘threatening Xiao Mike’, I have to admit it’s a but harsh to them, it’s just the way they are saying it trying to get a successful sample. No matter what, it’s a terrible ordeal and Xiao Mike is a brave kid.

You can test positive when you are viral shedding and you are not contagious anymore. My wife and son were both infected with omicron ( son also was positive for Delta when delta was raging), they stayed home for 4 days, went back to work on the 5th and didn’t infect anyone. I was not infected even though I was in close contact with them, tested myself twice and both times negative.
Better safe than sorry. Those infected might not show any symptoms, but can still can spread virus around. If little children or elderly got infected, it could be fatal. Recently a few children between age of 1 and 3 lost lives to covid in Taiwan
Thank you for recording this. As a Chinese, although I live in Switzerland, I always keep an eye on what is happening in China. It has been ridiculous and sad for me to witness the government to stick to Covid-zero policy, not mention what the authority has done to make it happen. I hope people in China can have good life as they are amazing people.

Hi Mike, in Malaysia your family is considered mild infection even tested positive. We don’t have to go to the hospital but every day must report our health condition thru the health website. Staying at home is safer than hospital. Hahaha! Don’t worry After 7 days normally it will recover. Take care!!
这位大马的朋友，认同你积极乐观的鼓励，但是很遗憾的是，这个病毒存在很多不确定的因素，轻症也有一定几率迅速转变成中重症，很多案例就是因为就医不及时发生了悲剧，居家隔离也很难保证病毒没有进一步扩散的可能……方舱隔离虽然辛苦，但至少会得到24小时的看护……

Of course, they broke the restrictions that caused the fifth waves of Covid n caused more than 9000 deaths within few months 😡 Mike n his family should be thankful .

我在加拿大，而你在北美，可能和我不在一个国家，我宁愿隔离和封城三个月，也不愿意感染新冠，这玩意的后遗症据香港数据，至少三分之一患者会有。牛津大学的研究表明，目前的后遗症还只是表象，真正的后遗症恐怕要到3到10年才可显现，比如脑雾和肺部纤维化对肺部的影响（建议你以后有条件做CT和核磁共振，检查肺部和脑部的状况）。另外香港有数据表明染疫男孩的睾丸变小已经有多起案例了，对小孩的影响到什么程度就连顶级科学家现在都无法判断，只能让时间说话，到几年后再看

在台灣，周圍也是一堆人開始陸續得到新冠，得到新冠的人就在家休養個幾天，然後就繼續正常生活，大家已經越來越習慣，所以日常生活基本上也依舊如常。看到大陸這樣搞，真的是很折騰人！病人應該需要安靜的休養來恢復健康。

这个病对年轻人没啥，但是对免疫力低，多种基础病的老年人就不行了，中国现在老龄化严重，人口多，如果放开防疫，那中国经济会受到很大冲击，父母有病，子女谁还去上班
大陆不这样搞，从2020年到现在至少要死300万人，美国已经死亡超过100万了，印度死亡400万人以上。大陆这样搞，虽然很折腾，但最大限度避免了死更多人。香港感染300万，死亡9000多你难道不知道？上海不执行全员核酸，第一时间发现患者马上隔离和治疗，而是像香港这样所谓的消极防疫（比西方躺平强一点，但远不如大陆全员核酸过关），按照上海人口是香港3倍计算，至少感染500万人以上，死一万人以上！
感染500万，死一万人都是小数字，最主要的如果不封城，马上病毒会传遍全国，不到半年就会感染几亿人，死亡几百万!别尼玛说omicron是大号流感，香港死9000多的也是omicron,大陆医疗条件远不如香港，到时候死几百万是非常平常的事情。
