Seeing how sharp Luke is here makes it really sad where he ended up. Laura on the other hand came out of it all and thrived. Interesting to see. For now though, I love the back and forth as they find their way back and the slow build up to the Ice Princess adventure. Now days people would be screaming about the story not wrapping up but the writing and acting were so sharp back then and so nicely done that we just couldn't wait for the next day to find out what they were up to. It just pulled us right in again.
Unfortunately, the writing is sub par from this era. Stories are twisted over and over until nothing make sense. I do believe if we had well written and well acted stories such as these, it would be different. IMO
I really didn't understand how he wouldn't accept any job offer when they got back from the Cassidine Island. He complained after the Frank Smith ordeal that he didn't get any offers. When Luke finally left GH in 2015, he was an old drunken broken man who had finally pushed Laura too far away. I kind of wish her and Scotty would have made it in 2013 when they remarried. It would have been very interesting to watch them rebuild their love and their lives together. Laura is thriving as the Mayor of Port Charles, a job that Luke couldn't handle. Shows ya just who the weak one really is.
I think Laura gave as good as she got from Luke! LOL. that was a great clip sus, I'm still smiling. That kind of interaction is why we loved them in the first place.
Luke is so weird in this scene. First he lords it over her that he gets to go to the party and she doesn't, then he's all excited that she'll be there after all, and mentions saving a dance for her if they play "their" song.
laura is just amazing ! and yeah i guess i will start commenting more on videos. and you right it is awesome to see that someone eles likes the clips as much as you do !
