Except if you're, say, an FL Studio user

Why have a product as shown in 15:00? We already have phones with gyroscopes and accelerometers..

will MIDI 2.0 be faster than MIDI 1, or is MPE only a quantity improvement?

That depends over what you mean by "faster"

How would anything be ever going faster than regular MIDI? Are you looking for an ansible or what? Because it really doesn't get faster than imperceptible latency.

@@minhuang8848 is OSC not a solution? By faster I meant to carry more information --Midi is 'mono' in its structure, isn't it--if it would be poly, it would carry more information-

Not a word about connectivity...without a computer, between instruments. 5-pin? Gone? We don't need a sales pitch, we need an explanation.

MPE and 2/3 of MIDI 2.0 (Profiles and Property Exchange) work over 5 Pin DIN and backwards compatibility has always been a top priority of The MIDI Association. That is not a sales pitch, it is just the facts.

@@TheMIDIAssociation Great! This should be the introduction, as it is a wide concern. How did MIDI has evolve (pre-2.0) and come to be used so much in DAWs, and what hurdles had to be overcome? Poly AT seemed to overwhelm 5-pin in the past. Is that still the case? Is USB required for polyAT...what other features require USB; and a computer? "It just works" is rarely associated with the evolving software landscape..MIDI 1.0 being a rare exception. Sincere thanks to all who have worked so hard on improving MIDI.
